Anna S. Any advice for me ? I feel anxious a lot most of the day which causes me thoughts . One moment I’m fine and the next I’m not . I try to relax but it’s only for a while then it comes back
N A N A, gosh, I’m not an authority like Ms. Hall - only an authority on myself.😊 I listen to a lot of different meditations and recordings here on RU-vid and the ones that I like I save. I like this one a lot and I also like the 10-minute Calm meditations because I can take that much time easily to lie down and feel 100 times better afterward. When you have those frightening thoughts even if it’s memories you must remind yourself thoughts can’t hurt you and they’re in the past. I use slow deep breathing, too. It. works! I also really admire Glenn Harold who has a lot of solid advice & wisdom. Best of luck & healing to you.

I honestly genuinely have such bad anxiety my heart starts racing so fast I convince myself in that moment that I’m about to die. It’s scary, and I’ve never really believed in meditation much because I always told myself that it never worked but I never really gave it a chance until now. And I wanna thank you because I was felt like I was have a bad panic attack before choosing to listen to this and this video really really helped :)

Thank you, I have just found this meditation! I was wondering how long does it take to be able to balance sympathetic and parasympathetic systems? I know everyone is different but I’m wondering if I can meditate each day how long should I expect it to take?
You're welcome Lola. That's a good question, but not one I'm sure I can really answer. As you say, everyone is different depending on their individual make-up and condition. Most people will be able to feel an immediate difference after meditating for instance - that may last a couple of hours, but will revert to being in 'sympathetic' stress mode later. In my experience, it's not just about meditating but also looking at managing anxiety and stress thinking and behaviour patterns. It takes time. Some people, like myself, who are more geneticaly predisposed to experience stress, use grounding, mindfulness and the breath to re-balance our nervous systems several times a day. I hope this is helpful. 💖

My chronic overractive bladder problem is due to anxiety. It's very tiresome and it puts me down sometimes...I hope this meditation can help me. Thank you for your time to help people to feel better.
I suffer from both concussive stress and PTSD on top of a diabetic induced nervous system degradation. I'm trying me best to stay afloat until the VA can see me after the Coronavirus...

@@LindaHallguidedmeditation I did actually. Thank you for your video. It slowed it down enoughto get through... Even while my vision turned bright as if looking up into a bright light of a surgery table. My imagination is too vivid sometimes.
Thank you Linda, I am living with chronic anxiety for a few decades and even when mind and body finally relax, the nervous system kicks in and the response is activated, often in sleep, waking, its so hard then as mind is unprepared and the catastrophising begins and around it goes again.

WOW, this is a beautiful meditation. I'm so glad I found it. I learned how to meditate while practicing yoga, so I know how valuable real meditation can be. Many people can't quiet themselves to sit still and do this, but with a little practice, it becomes an integral part of of you. Thank you.
