@@nostekki I think they meant they had enough of making sandwiches at subway. Also for my last comment before this edit “It’s a joke” I’m saying that the first comment that started this thread is a joke, also the video is slightly a joke to
I had a coworker walk out once. She took the apron and everything 😂 I worked in a bakery. But she was late all the time and was kind of hard to deal with from a managers perspective. I think he had pulled her aside and talked to her about being on time (for like the 3rd time) and she said she was gonna get something out of her car and then sat in the parking lot for 30 minutes before just leaving. And then two high school kids who were friends both came in the day before Easter (we were closed on sundays so this was the big day) and gave their notices effective immediately and they were both supposed to work that day 💀they only got in the way anyways but still
I had a job at a burger joint and at the interview two people quit. I then get hired on the spot and told I am working 10 hour shifts the next day. I go in start my training easy first few hours, then all of a sudden the guy training me just throws his hat and apron on the floor and walks out screaming he was done and quit. They proceed to have me break bacon for an hour and burn myself badly, this is with their "safety mits" so I proceed to get up call a ride and quit after half my shift.
not necessarily a coworker just leaving but last year, during the summer the place i was working at (bakery/breakfast and lunch cafe), we were just so slammed due to both the GM and AGM leaving within days of each other, along with a bunch of senior staff that left out of solidarity with one of the two and one day, our District Manager whod been coming in when possible to take some of the brunt of the work decides to fire the girl we were training into our next AGM pretty much just randomly. She had some (totally valid) complaints with how the new GM was changing the environment, just little stuff like how he'd rearrange the walk-ins and front table coolers, but all that would add up into having to waste a few minutes every time you needed to find something just looking for where it was--this girl expressed that in a lets say less than totally respectful manner and the DM was just like "leave, we're done with you" and pretty much fucked everyone else over for an entire month searching for a replacement. She was a totally fine worker, a little on the annoying side (the type of person who complains about virtually everything in their life and makes it clear that they think their life is harder than yours), and while i didn't personally like her much, she did her job fine--the DM never even had to deal with the longer consequences as he was poached by some other company like a week later, i actually liked him but have zero respect for how he handled the situation.
Y’all talking about “Hurrr durrrr guys 69 likes wahhh don’t like wahh” fully knowing it doesn’t matter 1 bit if you like it or not cause someone else is going to🤦♀️
Mississippi, have you ever had to deal with a person who grabbed the sandwich, didn’t pay, and just stormed out of the store? (If this next part has happened then answer) and came back in asking for a refund because they thought the sandwich was nasty?
Mandalorian, has someone ever done something gross to the sandwich/ item they were preparing? (like those stories you hear about fast food workers spitting in food, ect.)
Wait is this what Mandy does when he’s not running his two RU-vid accounts!? . . . Must be a voice changer and his white man servant from his second personality.
Milton. I just found this channel today and I have two comments. One: love the content man. Subscribed after the first video (guy wouldn’t leave). Two: I adore that everyone calls you by a different name that begins with M.
I actually have💀I manage a Pizza Hut a group came in for dine in little late like 7:30-8ish funny group of dudes but we ended up joking around I got a couple snaps and we still snap to this day a few weeks later
Oh wow I don't think I could have ever have done that to someone. When I quit Subway all I did was called the hiring manager and resigned due to the fact that my boss was cutting our hours just so that he could get that Subway bonus. Some bosses really do not care about their employees I'm just glad to see not all bosses are like it though
I worked at a Taco Bell once and one of the employees saw the guy his ex-gf left him for so he saw the order and it had a cheesy bean and rice burrito on it, he grabbed the tortilla then went to the back area (near the dishes) and rubbed it across his ass-crack back and forth, spit on it, blew his nose (huge boogers and snot) and then proceeded to make the burrito perfectly afterwards, even the wrapping was flawless. It was pretty slow at the time (around 4pm) so the majority of the crew hard a hard time keeping a straight face and we were afraid he'd notice something. I also worked for Sonic Drive-In and the senior cook dropped a fully-made Sonic burger on the ground before placing it in the wrapper, he put it back together, dusted it off, and sent it out. I rarely ever eat fast food anymore, but oddly enough I do Enjoy the occasional Subway sandwich...
i definitely walked off ajob after like 8 months in the middle of a shift before, they kept upping our work load and even after i broke it down to them mathmatically how impossible the job was, they kept writing my coworker and I up for missing things...... so the manager came up one day with 2 write ups. i signed them, went to the break room, grabbed my stuff, signed out on the time sheet right in front of the managers without saying a word, started walking down the hallway and threw my badge over my shoulder while the manager asked "where i was going" i was fucking out of there.
Recently I had to quit my job...I just couldn't take the mental abuse and at times physically dangerous incidents for example the 'abusers' at work getting angry and throwing products, in my direction, driving the fork lift recklessly nearly missing me, and many other issues like this. I kept my head up and reported the issues however nothing got solved, unfortunately I was forced to stay at this job for about 2 years due to covid and not having any other options (prior to this I worked on television for sports casting and after covid hit as I was a fresh from school and a new caster I was the first of many to go) not everyone at that job was abusive but I just couldn't take it anymore. I'm happy to say that after my girlfriend encouraged me I'm now working on cars making more money and hoping to get back into the sports scene one day.
Omg everytime I watch yoyr vids I always wann go to yoyr subway and the ice cream looks so delicious your making me hungry but love your vids yoyr so interesting to watch
Yeah he mentioned it before but I forgot which video. Sorry! 😔 I think he mentioned it again in one of the more recent vids since I went on a binge and watched a good couple of his more recent ones.
I think I've only given a 2 week notice to quit like twice in my whole life. Any other time, I just reach a limit where I go "Hey, I'm done. Have a good one." ✌ No job I was working at was ever gonna give me a 2 week notice before they fired me, right? So, employment-at-will works both ways 😂
Mayonnaise, you should make a longer video answering more than just one question. If this is already a thing a apologize this is just something i wanted to see love your content keep up the good work. ♥
Sad that he couldn't do the same for his co-workers and had to rub it in Milad's face as if he was the one who made his job crappy on a personal level. He could have quit after hours or at a more appropriate time.
@@CrizzyEyes or he could have notified. No matter how much you hate your job you can't just quit on the spot with no prior notice...the shifts need to be adjusted after you quit after all. If he had notified earlier they could have already started looking for new people to hire. As someone whose parents own a shop where I've worked, the job is really demanding and stressful and you can't have only one person in at any time during the summer. It's also really hard finding the right employee for the job and we're struggling with hiring all year long. So yeah I find what his coworker did incredibly rude, disrespectful, selfish and immature
@@linchuue3090 You actually can quit on the spot with no prior notice. Greg did it. Good for Greg, cry about it. If you're struggling with hiring, your parents don't pay enough lol.
@@madelinebitts2766 that's not the reason my parents struggle with it. The job is demanding and the people that come are full of shortcomings. I live in a small town so it's hard to find people. We have two employees rn but they're still lacking in some ways and probably wont last longer than a year either. Anyways, my parents pay more than enough and I would appreciate if you didn't make assumptions about them (Also I didn't mean that ppl literally can't quit on the spot, just that it's not nice and definitely not considerate to any of the people working with you. If you wanna be an asshole then so be it, no one can stop you)
@@linchuue3090 Sounds like they don't pay enough at all and the business is failing. Also you're claiming everyone that you hire sucks at your job? No wonder you can't retain employees you're an entitled asshole, and are underpaying people if the turnover is that high.
Are you serious? If you actually watch the video, the guy that Greg is actually a good person, never come late at work (unless for this one). And if you're working at a place and another franchise hires you with bigger payment, logically anyone would agree and quit the previous job.
I would eat the grass in my front yard before I ate something from the place I worked. A sandwich place might be different, but fast food is generally really bad for you. Just look at the customers that come in everyday, if they don't look healthy, stop eating there.

@Matthew Davisson How does this whole process works? I wanted to invest more in crypto, but the fluctuations in crypto value discouraged me into dumping.

Steve McGarry is absolutely fantastic. He is an educator and mentor. He is beyond passionate, honest, and transparent about what He does! Which is very rare I should add, I've been self teaching myself trading for about two years now it's no easy task. Over the last 3 months of being a part of his investors I no longer feel alone and I have someone there for me!
I did this with Discount Tire, they work you 15 hour shifts at minimum wage and here I was finishing up code school for front end web development. For anyone that has never aspired to rise above their bottom line jobs, I’d recommend starting now. Quitting that day on the job was the best thing ive ever done, now I own a successful web development company.
that happen to yesterday at work . I was by myself mostly by myself for the day until i leave in the afternoon . For thee manger and the few worker who help me was out you are awesome
At my dance school there is a subway right next to it so when we are done with a big practice or we have a big class and we are half way done we always go there and my friends older brother even works there so they say that the rush comes in is when we are done with a practice
