Is the electronic parking brake and Brake hold button connected to car battery? What is the fail safe feature if the car battery has no power and the car will be park on slope, how to prevent car from moving?

It keeps flashing park when I drive

Dumb and dangerous design....my battery disconnected on a journey and then on a slip road when i came off the motorway the auto engine off cut the engine power, leaving me with no way to restart the engine but more importantly no way to engage the parking brake. Not a good situation when you are on a sloped slip road and cant even turn on hazard lights. There definitely needs to be a manual handbrake. Also the need to depress the brake pedal to disengage the brake means if you are on a slope you need to quickly the hit the accelerator before the car begins to start rolling back in contrast to a hand operated brake where your foot is free to work the accelerator to meet the biting point before you release the brake by hand.
