My b18c made 198whp with this exact setup. Motor is super healthy

I had a custom chip ECU off EBay.(B20v) My car made 190hp & ran consistent 13s passes.

You should explain more on Chipped ECU part. If it was a stock base map ECU P72 or a Tuned on Crome Chipped ECU. Great video don’t want to rant. Kenny should pause for minute longer on dyno graph or say the HP and torque numbers after each pull. Keep B Series alive Ef was Cllllleeeeaaannnn.

Hondata S300 all the way, Its the closest thing to a true standalone ECU while still retaining full OEM fuctionality. You don't need to custom wire it or fully recalibrate it like you would with a haltech or similar stand alone ECU.

Is there a tuning video explaining driva-bility tuning? When doing WOT tuning on videos its only two or three columns of the map all the way to the right and then it just goes down. A video on tuning in the areas of the shifts in normal driving conditions and how to get the best burn in low RPM's and what AFR you might target for those areas of the map?

Need someone to help me tune my H23a Vtec motor I am about to get Hondata equipped ECU on a P28 but I am a newb I heard of online services Phearable.net has online Hondata tuning services but its way too much money for me after you spend 490 on the s300 they want 400 for online tuning I was like I can't do it. And you guys are a godsend and great at teaching about hondas keep it up!

I can get same power with a REAL chipped ecu if you use CROME. Not a cheap install and done chip not tuned for you set up. Those mostly just add fuel and timing. Also 120 hp less than stock. Tuning software dont really matter its what the tuner is comfortable and familiar with some just have diff. Options.

Just did a jdm GSR swap in my ek hatch and I’m definitely going to try setting the tps at 1%. Have noticed exactly what you’re talking about with the slight jerk/ hesitation after letting off. Thanks

128 on a chip ecu what the heck....i wasplanning to put a chip on my b16a2 that have forged flat piston and some work on the head plus intake ,manifold and 3” skunk2 exaust thats frustrating for a type r ... i hope when i put the bottom b18c and the hondata gave me some good power cuz right now it runs good and feels a little power without tunning and running in the factory ob2

I know this video isn't new, but have yall ever tuned on a p28 with a demon 2 in it? I bought it to use because its suppose to be good but cheaper than hondata.... could you do some content on it possibly?

Stock teggie R motor doing 120 at wheels? Wow would've expected a little more ..I have a jdm stock prelude that does 164 at wheels even stock airbox ..it is a jdm SiR spec S tho ..I'm in the process of transplant to ek civic with few minor bolt ons skunk2 intake s300 plus b box

I dont know if this represents well the difference between a stock chipped ecu vs hondata... the b18c5 type r on std ecu with a few tweaks will make 170whp....14sec car

Yo Alex, my k24/20 with Rdx 410’s my car does that hesitation shit. It’s almost like it can’t read under 5% throttle. It does exactly what u explained with the itb’s. I recently got a k tuned Hall effect tps but when I tried installing it the would barely drive. Throttle would cut out so I jus put the stock one back on. What exactly do I need to do in k manager again? Thanks man, I like your guys shop. If I was closer I would have deff had u tune my car. I’m all the way in Seattle.

Obd1 d11 d22 set that at .48volt and that it. Hondata is to mutch cash vs 2 screw and ajusting it

not really a hondata vs chipped ECU, more like click bait for RICER. I am sure that chipped Ecu can make that power as the hondata, both has tuning capability for ign and fuel. I'm pretty sure the chipped ecu wasn't even tuned for that setup, its like me making a video, putting a stock p30 .Skl file in a s300 with no tuning and compare it to a CHIPPED ECU that i tuned and say, look guys, chipped ecu is the way to go. Stay Humble guys.

That was 174whp on a stock b18c tuned? I guess that's about right. I think the last time I did that swap in a hatch I made right about 182 after a tune. That's not bad. Makes me want an ef again, and a B again. K has been the way for so long I almost don't remember how to make a B boogie.

All hondata boards are just memory chip emulators. There's no difference between this and an eprom. Load up ECT chrom or Neptune and tune both. Some software sets have more options on the base code then others. For someone to say hondata is closest to a standalone is kinda funny. You can do everything a hondata can do in a stock chipped ecu. Tune the unknown chip and it will be same power. Use a RTP board from Neptune cobra moats or any of the few out there and tune n burn. Love you're videos but the difference should have been elaborated more.
