Dry hop yeast is an excellent alternative to bread sourdoughs. Yeast is prepared on the basis of hop broth, whole grain flour and bran.
After cooking, dry hop yeast is very convenient to store: it does not need to be fed and kept in the refrigerator. It is enough to keep the dry yeast in a warm, dry place and activate as needed.
In this video, I briefly show you how to activate them in one feeding. With dry hop yeast, you immediately get a dough that can be used immediately in a recipe.
To activate dry hop yeast you will need:
5 gr. dry hop yeast
50 gr. water
0.5 tbsp Sahara
50 gr. premium wheat flour
