Thanks Rick, similar to the wife's 67 impala I'm doing now. Gm have a good suspension, I'm a Mopar guy but I love these old Gms. They drive beautiful and handle so well for a big car.
It's nice to see someone else sporting a built 7.5"! While 460 is a lot more than my car makes, with a similar setup my 7.5" handles 350 hp all day long.
Thanks Rick, nice work mate. Wish someone would make a kit like that for early model Holden's. The population of the US and Canada means you guys can support so much more industry like that.
You do actually have the coil spring in correctly, but there is a top and a bottom. If you notice the top coils are closer together which is for your ride. If you flip that spring upside down the car will not ride like it should
Nice video man ! Ive got a all fiberglass 1969 camaro that sets on a G-BODY frame that im going to upgrade. Video's like this Help ppl out even when they know what there doing.
Good hardware. Not all aftermarket upper arms are a drop in fit. Some will need a little notching to maintain clearance off the dog ears on the axle. Did you match upper length to stock arms first, or wait til drivshaftt was in to match pinion and output shaft angles?
I have alway been curious about pinion angle. With the ajustable upper/lower control arms, how do you know when to ajust them or when you angle is good?
