Awesome brother. I can totally relate to the dog. I am a dog lover. I put my lab in a position that got him hurt once. He is all fine but I know the he and I just got lucky. It changed how I look at things and how I do things. Im so happy you and Coop still have time together

Glad your pup recovered. It has forever changed how I think and feel, I'd even say changed me as a person. Coop is doing great now as we recently moved to a ranch property so he has room to explore on a daily basis. Looking forward to getting him back out on the boat soon. Appreciate your comment.

Pontoon boats are great for family. Boating in general is great for family. Boating has gotten such a bad reputation by folks that won’t spend enough to get a problem free boat. I was one of those guys for years and I just got tired of fighting boats that won’t run good and are falling apart. You don’t have to buy a brand spanking new boat but the newer it is the more reliable it will be.

Very true. I took some friends out on my boat on Sunday and one of them said "man, gotta love a 2019 boat" because it started right up and worked problem free all day long while sipping gas and not smoking, stinking, etc. I'm grateful that I can afford to have a newer problem free boat, but I'd definitely make it work if I had to go with something older.

Did I hear you right… you tow your pontoon with an Acura MDX?? We have been looking at a Sun Tracker Fish Buggy 18 DLX, but we were thinking that our Hyundai Santa Fe wouldn’t pull it, and we’d have to settle for the Fish Buggy 16’. You don’t have problems on boat ramps? Does your Acura have a tranny fluid cooler? A video launching, and recovering your pontoon would be a good video. Your take, technique would be invaluable. Yep, this is our 5th season towing the boat with our 2011 AWD MDX which is rated at 5000 lb capacity. It does have a trans cooler and the trans is serviced annually. No issues on ramps at all. Has plenty of power (300) and torque (270). The AWD really helps on slipper ramps, no tire spin. I'll try to make more boat videos this season. I typically launch the boat with my wife and dog in it, then they drive around till I park and come back down so they can grab me at the dock. I've launched solo a few times and do have a trick for that so I'll try to do some videos covering these things. Any chance you can send me a pic of the catalog? I told them they could use my pics but didn't see the catalog. That's funny!

My wife massages his leg a few times per day when we take this brace off. I'm losing hope about full recovery given how long it's been, but he's such a happy guy anyways. We recently moved to the country so he has lots of land to roam around off leash and that's been a total game changer for him. I'll have to post more videos of him soon!
