I unplugged my Firestick for about 2 mins. Then made 15-20 attempts of holding the home button but it finally worked. I've never smiled so Much in my life lol

thanks! it worked. if your screen saver comes on,just unplug the firestick and plug it back in and hold the home button for 20 seconds it will work! it dont work if your screen saver is on

Newer TV w Amazon built into it, and this pairing process took about 5 seconds. Starting video at 1:18 and ending at 1:22 was all I needed. Thanks for the video!

save yourself a waste of a 1 minute and 30 second intro just to tell you 1: point your new firestick remote at your tv (stand at a close enough range) 2:hold down the home (house button) for 20 second intervals. Repeat this step and eventually your remote will pair. Youre welcome

Dude your good luck lol I paired my remote to another firestick I picked up that I'm using in my room that came with a shot remote, so anyways I came in my living room to see if my main firestick (the good one) was still gonna work with it's original remote after I paired then unpaired it with the one in the room and nope not working, nothing. It worked the first time! First the light on the remote blinked orange, then blue. Afterwards, the remote paired!
