Yes this is one of those cases BUT my opinion....life in prison would be the best choice for these two monsters because they already think the end of the world is July 22 2020. It really makes you wonder if he was suffocated, drugged, or God forbid, if there was blunt force trauma, or something. I've seen that in some murder cases, that when a family member or close friend kills somebody, that they will "cover the face/head," because they can't look at it. So it will be interesting to know if there was any trauma to his head. I haven't heard there was, but I also haven't heard that there WASN'T, either.

Nothing in this case will come swiftly. We can expect twists and turns and above all, we can hope for justice for these poor kids, but the hold of most LDS followers, is strong in their location and therefore they may actually have " support". Don't be surprised if they go free. I don't see them getting punished for the murders. If they get freed, they would have to leave the country ! they are monsters, in the view of many ! and some people would not let them forget that.

How Anthony got away was due to a weak minded jury who refused to accept circumstantial evidence. They wanted a smoking gun especially with the death sentence on the table. I think in this case, the judge needs to not disclose what the penalty may be ; just find these monsters guilty ! the penalty should come later.....therefore, not intimidating the jury. I don't know if it is possible to withhold the type of penalty. Seems like it should be doable.

A lot depends on the jury. Could they be sympathetic to Chad and Lori? How many members in this cult? How much does the church control the county? Will there be an effort to cover up? It is worrisome when you look at what's happened so far. No one has been charged with murder. No autopsy was done on Tammy. No charges for murder of Charles. It's only after international attention that any action was taken to bring the newly weds back from HI and frankly the charges are weak.

According to Donna, Tylee was strangled by Alex while Lori hit her on the head with a wooden board. She suffered. Alex then cut her up at the demand of Lori, who told him how to do it, but did not really participate herself. People tend to use the same methods. Alex shot Charles, he attempted to shoot Brandon and Tammy. He used a silencer in the last two attempts. Tylee was most likely shot if Alex was responsible. Tammy and Alex were poisoned. JJ was drugged. Lori also made Tylee sick for a number of years resulting in suspicion she had munchaussen by proxy. It could have been either method, but Chad’s reference to shooting a raccoon leads me to believe that was the means by which Tylee died.

I cannot fathom this line of thinking! Even when one of my kids went through a super rough, ten year period, I only loved him MORE! It was a difficult time, but even at the worst of times, the FURTHEST thing from my mind was to hurt him or end his life! Sure, there may have been a time, or two, that I jokingly said I wanted to strangle that kid, but no fucking way, IN HELL, would I EVER be ABLE to harm my own children! I just cannot understand how ANY mother can do this to their children! I'm positively horrified. Those poor children, not to mention the other victims they apparently left behind. I believe that Lori drugged JJ and then Alex took him and killed him. Tylee I believe was shot and killed. Maybe the head maybe not but I believe it only took one shot to kill her. In the affidavit from a couple weeks ago, it says the conversation the neighbors had with Daybell's son about hearing a gunshot took place in mid-July, not September.

I am sure they had the cellphone pings earlier but with the ground frozen, it would have been pretty much useless to try and dig. People think the investigators are dragging their feet in this case but they are making sure their T’s are crossed and their I’s are dotted. They don’t want these murderers to get off on a technicality. I am sure there is a ton of info they have that they aren’t releasing to the public.

People are impatient and I totally get that but the KEY is the difference between factual guilt (what the defendant actually did) and legal guilt (what a prosecutor can prove). A good criminal defense lawyer asks not, “Did my client do it?” but rather, “Can the government prove that my client did it?” No matter what the defendant has done, he is not legally guilty until a prosecutor offers enough evidence to persuade a judge or jury to find “legal guilt.” In the end the facts aren’t really important. It’s all about what can be proven in a court of law.

Well, consider Chad being well accepted in the LDS community. Few have come forward to expose him. He has a lot of friends in that locality. It will be impossible for a jury of his peers to find him guilty. I think he will go free. Lots of circumstantial, but nothing concrete unless her finger prints are on the duct tape that suffocated JJ. That would help a lot to convict her.

I actually got addicted to Benadryl. At one point I was taking around 600mg a day. Max per day is said to be 200-300mg. I never thought it was dangerous because it's OTC. But don't worry, I've been re-educated about that type of logic.
