How does the Kang from Quantumania tie into Loki's series? 

I think the Threshold they keep talking about is, the length/place in spacetime where other universes can notice a branch from another one. which would be the main way to create bridges between universes. that is why they kept pruning timelines, and with Loki's branch on a branch escape, he might be on a timeline that is slightly in limbo. meaning he is outside the loom's timeline, which allowed him to timeslip at a place where timeslipping should not be possible, as he was improperly inserted back into the timeline, with no set point in space-time.

I had this theory before that immortis was talking about He Who Remains and the two Loki variants about who killed him and they’re touching the multiverse.

Kang literally said he was exiled. HWR wasn't imprisoned at all. How could he be when he was in control of everything? THAT doesn't make any sense unless someone has any logical explanation on how it does make sense

@@unculturedswine9984 I do think that your statement is true I would like to add to it as well, to kind of ponder for a bit lol. At the end of Quantumania the kangs do say that HE was exiled, and also says that THEY are beggining to touch the mutliverse and that THEY will ruin everything that the trio of Kangs have built. I do think that he is referring to the Loki variants as indeed they have let the loom continue to draw in all of those branches and Miss Minutes talks about the timelines branching off and once long enough without overseight and they would eventually create/become bridges into other universes. The TVA then goes and erases the rising branch A.K.A bridge in return erasing the bridge before it becomes critical. So, since Loki, and Sylvie were the ones to have the TVA stop pruning branches, I beleive THAT is what led to the other Kangs being able to now see the 616 universe. Due to having the branches reach the multiverse. Loki Ep.6 HWR also states that he isolated himself, (kind of like how we find out Luke isolates himself in SW VIII) I also beleive that in that movie they do say the term exiled. HWR was indeed in control of everthing, but of only his universe I believe. He mentioned that was afraid of the other Kangs and he was probably scared of losing it to the multiversal war, which is the end and beggining of the new universe. Its's like being in your room without being able to go into any other room due to your parents or siblings ruling that section, and you can only control whats in your room. Marvel is Marvel though i just hope that I was able to be of some help for you. I'm very new to this but seeing the viedo really sparked some theories that I had and I do enjoy how both seasons of Loki have made a positive impact on all of us nerds in the comments LOL!! He meant He Who Remains could be Victor. I think he is because he mentions "I isolated our timeline." "Our" indicates he came from there, and we see Victor Timely there. So maybe the original was simply invited to the fun the other variants were having hanging out with each other, and he learned from them.

Right! I felt the same way for the longest time. But what changed my mind was that the Kang Council knew about "the exiled one" and they wanted to have been the ones to kill him. If they were all wiped out by HWR as a result of the multiversal war and then all returned when the branches were no longer being pruned, it seems they wouldn't remember him and wouldn't be mad they didn't get to kill him. Instead, it seems they have always been around and HWR just "won" the war by essentially hiding from it. But we'll likely get a firm answer as Loki's season winds down. Can't wait for the next episode to drop!

Wow...that was some excellent commentary. You are right, HWR created an unnatural state for the 616 universe. He limited the branches it could create and he set up a state of delaying entropy where he and the TVA could live for eons and eons. And so, in a way, the universe fought back by creating all the differently chaotic Loki variants to throw a wrench in his plans and ultimately cause the loom to shut down and free the universe once again. Very cool ideas!

Great feedback. With the multiverse saga, anything is possible. But for me, it seems like the Kang from QM had a very different personality from HWR and a very different approach for how to manage the multiverse and deal with the branched timelines. Also, the Kang from QM had those scars, which HWR doesn't have. So I just think the Kang from QM is someone different. But again, with the multiverse saga, it's hard to predict what's coming next. Great comments! I suspect the Kang Council knew the QR was the basement of the multiverse and due to it being outside time and space, they figured that stranding Kang there would get rid of him. I am not sure that you can exit the QR into a different universe than the one you entered. We know you can use the QR to jump between timelines that are anchored to your original timeline (as we saw in Endgame), but I suspect that if you exit the QR, you go back to your original universe. Thus, it isn't a back door to the loom, per se. But that's a very interesting concept, so I may bring that up in a vid down the line. Yeah, I agree, that scene was pretty nutso. In the end, I'm down for whatever terms Marvel decides to go with, but I do think that there needs to be a fundamental difference between a universe and a branched timeline. Granted, a timeline in basically a universe, since it's a complete cut and paste of the original timeline, other than the nexus event. So I do agree, a timeline is a universe in that regard. But I think there is a difference between a universe that has its own unique big bang vs. a timeline that is anchored to an another universe via its nexus event. If only they had just come up with terms to describe those two things. Ugh!

Its because it easily can get messy when you dealing with Multiverse, and you have so many ppl on your team to manage and make sure everyone on the same page. The whole Infinity Saga time travelling is retconned for sure, I don't even think about that concept no more (it was just unique for only that saga). Especially it seems that time slipping is going to be a concept even outside the TVA. So wouldn't that mean new branches can occur. But in the Infinity Saga, the Ancient One said the removal of an infinity stone causes a new branch. All I'm saying is, if you have too many ways for a new branch to occur, then it just becomes a mess and no consistency. And then you throw in the Loki concept of Nexus Events causes branching timelines. You see how easily it becomes a huge mess. They're not on the same page at all. That's why I see that the concept from infinity saga is retconned. I think Kevin Feige and his crew needs to actually curate all these projects, and not release them when writers/directors/producers completely didn't get the memo and broke the entire rules. They should be currated multiple times, throughout its development cycle. And think that's what he's doing now which is why some of the newer projects are pushed further and getting rewritten.

It was this Kang that we saw at the end of Lpki season 1(the statue) Loki season 2 was supose to come before antman 3, but because of the delays they changed antman 3 ending and re-write the script for loki season 2, that time-jump wasn't in the script at all and a new Kang took control over the TVA

I think Victor Timely is He Who Remains. Not the variant Victor created by Renslayer when she slipped him the TVA Handbook, which caused a branched timeline and a variant Timely, but the ORIGINAL Victor Timely still existing on the Sacred Timeline. Victor, not his Loki variant that died, is from the Sacred Timeline...He Who Remains is also from the Sacred Timeline. I believe when the Kang's start traveling the multiverse, Sacred Timeline Victor Timely will be moved and influenced by them and will eventually become He Who Remains. I believe Variant Victor Timely, was the FIRST of all Kang variants, and when he was shredded in the Multiversal Probability Storm, it dispersed his Aura throughout the multiverse, throughout space and time, giving rise to all other Kang variants. I believe that He Who Remains planned for himself to get the TVA Handbook, in order to create a variant of himself, the FIRST of all Kang variants, that he knew and NEEDED to sacrifice himself, thereby dispersing his Aura throughout the Multiverse, giving rise to all Kangs that would influence Sacred Timeline Victor Timely to achieve his destiny to eventually become He Who Remains.

My only problem with it is that we know Loki will be going back in time to re-do those events so that the temporal loom doesn’t implode. And the fact that we know the council of kangs already exist they just couldn’t reach the sacred timeline while He Who Remains was alive and the TVA still pruning timelines

I do believe Loki God Of Stories is VERY much at play now. Seems like a layup in terms of where the direction of the story is heading. I do also have one more theory. The “ouroboros” reference. Wouldn’t it be crazy if Loki season 2 ended up right where it began, with Loki being captured by the TVA? Assuming he is God Of Stories Loki it would leave a bunch of room to operate considering the Kang dilemma

Ikr? I'm hoping that the multiverse saga will be similar to the Infinity Saga, in that it took awhile for things to really gel, but then things took off. For instance it wasn't until Thor: TDW that we first heard the word "infinity stone" in that post credit. That was two movies into Phase 2. So in a way, Phase 4 was like Phase 1...a lot of setup for what's to come. The advantage Phase 1 had was the Avengers movie was a nice way to cap it off and Phase 4 didn't have anything like that. But I do think the setup in Phase 4 and the first part of Phase 5 will make the multiverse saga end up being fantastic!

Oh my...I truly apologize for that. What I was just trying to show was how the Quantumania movie fits in with the overall MCU timeline and in particular how it fits in with Loki. Simply stated, I think the order is this: 1. Kang Variants meet in the 31st century 2. Multiversal war occurs 3. Kang from Quantumania is exiled to the Quantum Realm (QR) 4. HWR creates the sacred timeline and uses the loom to hide from the other Kangs 5. Janet enters the QR in 1987 6. Kang enters the QR in 2008 7. Janet eventually realizes Kang's plan, sabotages the core, and flees. 8. Janet is rescued from the QR in 2018 9. Avengers go on the time heist 10. Loki's branch is created when he steals the tesseract 11. Loki S1 and S2 occur, eventually resulting in the loom being shut down and the sacred timeline being exposed to the multiverse 12. Janet and the gang are pulled into the QR in 2026 13. Quantumania movie occurs, ending in Kang being killed (?) 14. Kang Council sees what has happened during the Loki series and realizes they need to deal with all the heroes that popped up in the sacred timeline while they were unable to see what was happening (i.e. while the loom was in place). @AbitofEverything4U don't get me wrong, I watched the whole video because the video was well put together and rather easy to follow along with, but at the end of the day I think this is more of a Marvel storytelling problem than a you not being able to rehash the Marvel story problem. Everything post phase 3 is a jumbled mess that seemingly makes no sense and has no clear-cut connections from one to the next. Like, I can't wait to see what this eternal sticking out of the ocean has to do with Sharon Carter the power broker, just choosing two of the random open-ended plot threads that Marvel has given us and then promptly done absolutely nothing with, and these plot threads now seem redundant and irrelevant to the direction they are going.

Ah! I'm following now. Yes, I agree, Phase 4 has been abit all over the place. I think that will improve now that the stories are all coming together, but it has been abit hard to see how it will all connect at times. Let's see how the rest of Phase 5 goes and I suspect we'll see things coalescing nicely!

So my theory is that the sacred timeline (i.e. 616) is what is contained in the loom and that the nexus events created branches (some of which were considered dangerous and were pruned and others which were left to be woven together via the loom) and that the sacred timeline has been protected from the rest of the Kang Council and the rest of the multiverse. So the Spider-Verse and What If exist outside of the loom, but when the loom is shut down, it will expose the sacred timeline to the multiverse. Just my theories though. I could very well be wrong. I suspect we'll learn more in these last two episodes of Loki. Can't wait for the next one to drop. And thx so much for watching the vid and sharing your thoughts. Really appreciate it!

Yeah, the rules around the QR are very hard to pin down. But I do agree that you can use it to jump back in time, as the Avengers did in the time heist. However, if you do that, you create a branch in time, it seems. So if you want to return to your timeline, you have to return to the point where you left...or in the case of Ant-Man, you may end up exiting in the future, due to more time passing in the main universe than you experienced in the quantum realm. Yeah, I'll be watching the upcoming trial very closely. As for my thoughts on things...I can't imagine them giving up on the Kang storyline as they have invested too much in it and I think things are getting very interesting so I hope we do get Kang Dynasty and that the story continues. As for Majors, I am hoping things work out for him in the trial, in which case I think Marvel keeps him. Otherwise, I can see them recasting to keep the story moving along. We'll likely find out soon!

That's certainly a possibility...but they did include that episode in the Official Timeline book for the MCU, so ig that means it is canon? I'm looking forward to What If season 2 to see if it makes things abit more clear on what is really happening in those episodes.

Great points! I totally forgot to mention in my breakdown that Loki actually replaced himself at the end of Ep 5. I do wonder if that's what Brad managed to do in the sacred timeline? And that's a fantastic observation about the loom seeming to heal itself. That said, everything then spaghettified, so I am honestly still abit confused about what we were seeing happening in that scene with that loom. I suspect the most important thing was Loki getting the TVA manual, but the loom's status is an interesting situation for sure.

That's a very valid theory and it may be the direction Marvel goes. ig for me, the biggest wrinkle is understanding how the Kang Council retained their memories of HWR and why they were angry with him and wanted to be the ones to kill him. That makes me think that HWR didn't wipe them out, but instead just hid from them via the loom. So the Kang Council has been out there the whole time, but was unable to impact the sacred timeline due to the loom. But that's just my theory on it.
