This is exactly what I'd hoped you'd show! I get tired of flipping my work over, and find it disorienting. Thank you!

this is the first time that I actually understood the pin stitch or a version of it. Thank you for the tutorial and showing how you do it.

Thank you for showing how to begin and end your cross stitch from the front. I always begin with the loop method or pin stitch when starting but was always curious on how to end the crosses from the front! I enjoy all your videos and stories.

Perfect timing on this video! I’ve actually been going through your playlist of cross stitch tutorials trying to find this exact video. Your stitching is so tidy. Goals! I would also love a video of how you plan out your direction for stitching. I notice you sometimes will go across, sometimes diagonally. Sometimes full stitches, sometimes half and then you go back and complete. It all seems very intentional but I don’t know how you just seem to know how to travel across your fabric. I’m new to stitching and want to know all your secrets 😊. Thanks for the great content!

You have given me the desire to learn cross stitch and these tutorials help me understand what I see you do during story time. 😉 Also, I sneak a peak at work sometimes and it always makes me want to rush home and stitch, you make it look so calming!!! ♥️

Made perfect sense and I’m gonna give it a try because I get tired of going from the front to the back! Thank you so much for this

Ohhh so it makes a vertical stitch! Thank you for showing how to end on the front Danielle. I kept trying to see how you did it and wasn't sure. You explained that extremely well. Can show us about parking? Don't sell yourself short...you are a good teacher!
@Stitcherista
@Stitcherista 2 года назад
I don't do parking. I never stitch a full coverage piece where I would do that. On my Carolyn Manning piece I just end the thread.

@@Stitcherista thanks thats what I do on complete coverage too. I think I will forego learning parking...

Thank you for posting! I just returned to stitching with a stand and it’s driving me nuts unscrewing and turning the entire project every time I need to end a color. I knew about the loop start, but I couldn’t figure out how to end on the front.

That is so weird... I was watching your last video and told myself to go back into your other videos and see if I could find a tutorial on the way you stop from the front !! You must have ESP 😂! Also I just taught myself to stitch two handed because at my age if I don’t I will not finish all I want to !! Thanks, Kim T

That looks like a great way to start/end; but since I only do 11ct, which is three threads, I can’t start that way.

Thank you! I am using scroll frame on a large stand and flipping to end thread has been a problem.

I started doing the loop method and the last way you showed on ending a thread by pulling it to tge front and stitching over it to anchor since I saw you doing it. I love not having to go to the back. I'm nervous about the pin stitch.

I always forget to finish with a pin stitch and thread through the stitches at the back! Did I see you are using the ball end needle? These are so good but the cost a fortune over in UK. Thank you🤗

i can clip thread couple rows up right? Since it’s covered let’s say already by quite few rows? This seems to be easiest so far for me cuz i can’t wrap my head around pin stitch
@Stitcherista
@Stitcherista 2 года назад
Yes. If you do the second method where I pull the thread to the front, you can pull the thread to the front however you choose, as long as the thread will be covered on the back.

Jean Farris says to moisten the thread before u start stitching and it will keep knots from happening while stitching. I use the beeswax instead. I've seen some people use the thread conditioner. I don't see how u see those holes. Too small for my eyes.

Thank you this❤️. Another question--- when you finish section and have to go down to stitch the next section. How to you ct to get there???? Is it 3 holes is one x, 3 holes second x and sew on. I just don't understand how?? I hope I explained that right!!!!
@Stitcherista
@Stitcherista 2 года назад
I'm pretty sure I have a video in a playlist in the description box explaining this. But if you think of one X as being three holes wide and three holes high, you just count that way. I tend to do it by X's.
