I just go once a month because it's so expensive 🤣I've only had one session so far on my upper lip, and my second appointment is tomorrow. The hair grew back, but it is way finer than originally. I couldn't believe it. I don't know if that means I won't need many sessions, I did not expect it to be so effective. Thank you for making this video! Love your channel!
As someone who studied electrolysis at the London College of Fashion in the late 70’s I’m really enjoying your posts! There’s not many people doing the treatment here in Essex - it’s mainly laser Completely agreed with your opinions on both Do keep posting - literally was killing myself laughing at your video on things that can go wrong generally, obviously not electrolysis! Well done
Hi I’m so glad my videos are helping! For all types of electrolysis I don’t recommend it in the 1st trimester. After that, it all depends on the type of electrolysis used. ‘Short wave diathermy/Thermolysis’ is safe because the current does not pass through the body. BUT I recommend you avoid it on the breast and abdominal area. However, the ‘Blend' or 'Galvanic' methods of electrolysis is best avoided during pregnancy. Ask the beauty salon/clinic which type they offer 😊
I was doing my face with my electrologist, but today i had her do my toes. For a change i could observe what she was doing. I noticed that when she zapped the follicle, half of the hairs would come out with ease and the other half were pulled out with some resistance. From your other video, i can see that this isnt a good thing. She also, AFTER pulling out the hair, zaps the same area again, by sticking the probe back into the same place where the hair used to be. I have a doubt whether this is okay or not, please advise.
Hi, yes I did mention how you shouldn’t feel the hair pluck. I don’t know why she would go back into the empty follicle. It might be a trick I don’t know about so it’s best to ask her
I am Gloria from South Africa experiencing hirsutism and TMAU, my doctors said i have PCOS had to start applying different med from my doctor nothing worked, i visited a channel Alternative Herbs that actually worked for me getting rid of the hairs, Doctor isibor body cleanser helped me overcome TMAU and pcos with in 21 days...
@@jenniferd5477 I don’t recommend you do it on yourself. It’s hard to see what you’re doing, stretch the skin properly and get the right angle all at the same time.

My electrologist suggested to start 1 session every 10 days in the beginning, like 3 to 4 sessions, than move to 1 session per month do you think it's enough?

Due to COVID , I can't have an appointment for approximately 6 weeks from my last session. I see the hair growing on my chin. Do you have any recommendations on what to do during this time ?and do you have thinking that having a huge gap between appointments will make electrolysis much less effective?
As long as you don’t stimulate the hair it will be fine. It’s best not to touch the hair, but I have made a video on other things you can do if the hair bothers you a lot
So if you have pcos and you aren't on the pill..even electrolysis won't work? At the end of the video you mentioned it being permanent in the end unless you have pcos then you need to keep getting it done 😞🤯 I thought electrolysis would be permanent even for pcos unless new hair grows somewhere due to hormones 😢 I don't want to go on the pill due to all the side effects. And I had a horrible experience with lazer (brought on even more hair) seems hopeless.. I've done 4 sessions electrolysis
Sorry I think I am wording it in the wrong way. Electrolysis is permanent, the hairs treated are permanently destroyed. If you have underlying hormonal imbalance that contributes to hirsutism such as in women with PCOS, while electrolysis can provide long-lasting results, it may require ongoing maintenance sessions if hormonal imbalances persist or fluctuate over time. So new hairs may possibly grow and you may meed top up session. For this reason, and only for this reason i cannot class it as a permanent result. Don’t be sad about it though because it isn’t as bad as it sounds. I personally have PCOS and get only 5min top up session only a few times a year for my chin hair. This is an incredible improvement and i cannot complain or be sad about that! It took a long time to get to this stage, but it is 100% worth it!
@@melisatesbel thank you 🥰 so you mean only if new hairs pop up ie not the hairs you previously treated? It's just that I have to move house and don't know where I'll be and I'm worried how many sessions I can get in before I may not be able to see her anymore. I got a home kit but it's impossible doing it myself! I appreciate your responses truly. Thank you
Hey i am doing electrolysis once in a three months because i live far away from my electrologist he clear my full hairs ( in chin & neck ) whenever i visit. Does it effective for me to go once in a three months ?
If you’re not taking medication or balancing your hormones in another way, there will be new hair growth which will need to be maintained by getting top up sessions a couple times a year

I looked into this dr. Isibor. His facebook page is filled with people wanting their money back. Did it work for you. He seems pretty shady and unsanitary
