Bloo57999 I’m curious to see how F7 feels too! I think experienced irl drifters can tell how realistic a sim is by watching the wheel and driver’s hands and from what I’ve seen it doesn’t *look* like their inputs are as smooth as AC, so my guess is it’s not as realistic but since I haven’t actually tried it yet I could be wrong 🤔

Another thing I would note is when there has been a bit of rain, in between that 3rd and 4th right before the hairpin, if you overshoot and run pass the K barriers, there is often a fairly large puddle down there that has killed a car before. Just another risky area I would like to note. Great footage though!

Eric Peters oh yeah that’s a good point...we don’t tend to get rain that often but when we do there will be a small lake in between the sweepers🤣

Can you review drift spec ae86 in AC and see how true it is to reality? That would be great. Also drift some stock cars (corvette). I have a real hard time with stock cars, so would be nice to get some pointers.

Radik yeah I can do the AE👍🏻 I built a grip one with the 4AGZE at one point so I even know a bit about how they feel. I can try some regular cars but TBH most regular cars are not so great to drift...they need some work on the front steering and suspension to be fun...a lot of setups make poor front contact patch at lock in drift so they’re super easy to spin...but I can try them at some point 🤷🏻‍♂️

I don’t have a manji video presently, it’s something I can do in the future tho. The wheel is a Nardi Torino classic in perforated leather with red stitching, I looove it. Actually have a vid in installing it in the channel library!

I had this mod on rfactor a really long time ago, I learned the track there before I actually went there. It was an amazing experience and time i got to meet the track owner and shake his hand and stuff it was fun. Anyway does anyone have this zipped up for assetto every link I find is dead

Johnson good question 😁 I got into drifting from an interest in Japan, I also I started learning the language about the same time. Kame (亀) is Japanese for Turtle or Tortoise, and I picked the name when I was living in Japan years later, kind of as a joke because of my tuning philosophy early on: I put all my time and money into suspension and seat time to become a fast driver in the turns. So visually the car looked slow as a turtle (stock) but was fast in corners so there must be some “trick” to it...hence KameTrick 😅

Johnson Japan is a beautiful country and the people are very polite, I had an amazing time there and made it out to Drifting events at Fuji Speedway, Sportsland Yamanashi and Ebisu Circuit ❤️ I’m stoked that adding AC content is introducing ppl to my real drift footage also 🙏
