I just completed my 2nd 5-day water fasting and going to start on ADF. I was 71kg with 43% body fat and now I am 60kg and down to 40% body fat. I found myself watching other people doing their fasting like your videos that I can easily to get it through. 😊😊

@@QuietlyPeaceful i started introducing food 30mins after a bowl of bone broth. Then I was doing 186 in between the 1st and 2nd 5-day water fasting.

@@vikkiyates1934 I returned to a 16/8 fasting schedule gained 8 lbs back. Since May 1st I started OMAD lost 3 lbs. trying to get back to a rolling 72 by Monday. I notice I was getting disappointed at watching the scale everyday . So I decided for the month of May starting on Monday not to weigh myself everyday but focus on getting back to rolling 72s.

I'm firmly in the 140s now after ramping up my fasting with rolling 72s. I sprinkled in a 45 hr fast this weekend and am now back on a 72 hr fast. I've noticed now with food I can take it or leave it. I still look forward to refeed day but the fanfare kinda wears off once I'm eating. I actually look forward more to my fasting days now. 😂😂 So proud of you Jerome for recognizing the issues you have with eating and the reasons behind it. Your mental health is just as important as the physical. So glad you're moving forward and healing!!

@@Scrumpleey initially I was 228 and got down to 139.6 just doing a 16:8 and keto everyday but after awhile my body was used to the routine and I gained back 20 LBS and was at 159. After switching to ADF and rolling 72s I'm now at 148.8. 9.2 LBS to go!!☺☺

I did a 40 day fast with just water and electrolytes a year and a half ago. It was a true test of self control. I started another one 8 days ago and I'm going to see how long I can go this time. Thanks for inspiring me to try it again!

Thanks, Jerome, I saw your interview. I actually have been a little nervous for your feeds and the amount but I am not criticizing. I wish you well. It's been the second time around with me and it was harder. True, I had cancer surgery and radiation treatments and the hospital stay threw me off. The nurse said to just eat and recover. Cranberry juices is what did it but I managed to bounc back later. I am also cured from my cancer for now. Getting back was and went much slower. My body plateau and I was stuck for months nor losing anything but finally starting losing again and finally I am down to my desired weight. I hope you find a correct balance that works for you. Best wishes.

I'm day 16 of my 30 day water fast goal, and i feel good. I do go through the struggle of thinking about food often, but my biggest challenge is feeling light headed and trying not to pass out. Although I'm probably doing too much at the gym. However, I'm still going strong. Big thank you for the motivation and the information bro!! 🙏🏽 You're killing it! 💪🏽

@alpaftal3026 I did take multivitamins 3 days during the 1st week, but i stopped and proceeded with water, tea, and pinches of salt when I'm feeling lightheaded. Black coffee maybe 3 times a week. 🙏🏽

OMG Jerome and Friends!!! It Friday and I stepped in on the scale. It says 165lbs.. I haven’t been this light since Covid.. Around December I was 189lbs and totally frustrated. I tried some new like every two weeks but 183lbs was the lowest I could get.. I’m taking 72hour seriously and wow!!! I’m preparing my food for my re-feed today and I’m Not Even Hungry.. Thank -You Jerome🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

@@berthaochieng7184 Hey, Sorry Im just seeing this..it’s been over a month and distraction got in the way. I had to change to OMAD but that lasted about two weeks.. I just think about food all the time. That was a struggle.. Weight climbed to 175lbs. ☹️ I’m focused on finding what works for me and how I can be consistent.. Today is day 7 of eating 6 small meals. I’m on a alarm, every 3 hours my eating window is 30 minutes. Weight is now 169lbs. But I’m looking very slim.😀 It’s Greek Easter and a big feast be served.. Wish me luck!!😀 How are you doing?

⁠@@berthaochieng7184I know how you feel. I avoid people at every opportunity, but since I started fasting on 4 May, I feel so much better. I feel less depressed. I’m 5’2 and your current weight is my goal 😁. If you haven’t yet, just start right now. Just do it. It will become easier. Watch Jerome’s and other people’s videos for motivation. We’re here for you 🤗.

Closing in on completing my 2nd rolling 72. Two hours til refeed, then back to it. This second cycle was already markedly easier than the first. Keep with it guys. It gets better.

I finally did 3 consecutive 36hr adf fasts. I lost 10lbs this week. I started 3 weeks ago, but was struggling to get to 36hrs consistently. -15lbs total

I was doing so good completing rolling 72 hour fasts and then I got sick. I have been taking OTC cold medicines so I felt like I needed to eat at least twice a day while on it. Once I get over this cold virus, I will be back fasting till I reach goal weight for my birthday. 💪🏼

I’m back on the fasting train. I lost my motivation for a while. I’ve done intermittent fasting these last 10 days or so. Today I’m finally on an extended fast, at 38 hours so far. 36 is my sweet spot, starting Sunday night, and full of energy on Tuesday morning. It’s good to listen to your videos. It’s like you are speaking your inner monologue. We all have similar thoughts and it’s good to get them out sometimes.

I’ve been ‘prepping’ for my fasting journey with low carb to get into Ketosis before I start my fast. So glad I found your channel! My plan is 14 days, refeed with raw veggies three days, juiced veggies the last three, then back into 14 days so on and so forth.

It’s easier for me to fast without timer. It’s a mental thing for me, when I start the timer than i always keep looking at the timer and time goes very slowly for me making me to break my fast way earlier than when I am fasting without timer, i forgot about the time and day go by fast and easy. Like i said mental thing for me it’s crazy i know but it works for me.

Not at all crazy, all of us have different ways to sabotage progress. My quirk was to not start my timer till I am over 24 hours but what Jerome said about using the timer all the time resonated with me and now I even track my refeeding window so my timer keeps going non-stop😄

I relate exactly to what you say about binging. I lost too much to binging - drugs, alcohol,food, attention 74 days off drugs, 1 day off alcohol, hour 12 into snake fast I was kicked out by a girlfriend because of my drug use. And next (last) time, two months ago, i had to move out from living with a partner who couldn't stop using drugs. It had made and my wellness so out of hand. I was 219 in mid-March and i started today on my fasting journey and weighed in 210 this morning I am not going to fail myself. I am viking. I have what it takes to endure, so that the rest of my life is even better than how "epic" it's been, being a DJ with dad bod and nice hair. It's go time.

I found you tonight and I've been jumping on and off of dry fasts. Mainly due to the lack of support and doubting myself. I know its mind over matter. However, I'm one who definitely needs community to push through and stay accountable. I am so grateful i found your page tonight. I set a plan to start a 3 day water fast April 5th and end on the 8th at midnight. This video alone is encouraging me to start sooner and encouraging me to push myself further. I've done 10 days water. So i know i can do it as well as 3 days dry. So again thank you for not just convicting me with your words to be more accountable but encouraging us all to just do it. I am tired of food being my God. I am ready to finally take my life back

My heaviest weight was 220 and that was a year ago and many people judge me with my weight and how much I gained weight. Which is needed because I need to take my life more serious. Fast forward this year I am the lowest 197. I been water fasting and it helped so much instead of eating low calorie beause if your serious about your weight loss. Water fasting is the way the goo

i fasted 24 hours today...been thinking of what you said about shorter eat window...so today i eat in 30 min...one meal..and i think about consistency...so will try to repeat because fast 24 hours for me is long...plus im carnivore...so lets see if i finally loose weight...with fasting..short eat window...exersize...and carnivore....i also gained weight in a very difficult stressful job where i had to sit eat every lunch high carb food...but now im not there anymore but could not loose the weight yet...thanks for a great video!! inspiration! why dont you go carnivore? then binge thinking, feeling will subside...stay well, you look amazing!

I’m so glad I found you! You are such an inspiration I actually lost weight in 2020 through fasting I worked my slowly by just pushing breakfast back and then no breakfast then 8/16 then OMAD. I went from 220 to 160. But unfortunately only kept it off for about a year. But thankfully only went up to 202. I started my fasting again on February 1 I have found a schedule that’s working for me I work 12 hour shifts-so on those days I do OMAD, and my days off I do longer fasts depending on my days off So an example is - 3 days of OMAD then a 72 hour fast, then 4 days of OMAD I know I’ve lost weight, but I become too focused on the numbers, so I rarely weigh myself I’m trusting the process and focusing on non-scale victories! Consistency is the key! I’m looking forward to continuing this journey with you, especially as you hit your goal weight and continue into maintenance and I continue to work towards my goal! I consider you my fasting buddy now! (Especially since most of my friends would freak out if they know I just recently finished a 97 hour fast) Looking forward to continuing this journey!

Keep it up bro! But you don’t feel sick after a huge refeed lol it’s hard for me to even down 2-3000 calories. I do omad and i find this method works for me best.

I don’t, but I’m built different. Do what works for you, no need to put down that many calories if your goal is to lose weight ♥️

@FinallyFasting I'll throw in a 24hrs fast here and there, down 11lbs in 2 weeks. But one thing that really helped me is having my eating windows earlier in the day or not eating after 3-4 pm. Also, your videos help me stay motivated 💪

Going into my second week, same situation with the binge eating. I am down 10 lb, Yesterday I almost gave in but I made it. I am currently doing 48 to 60 hours fast. I will let you know when I screw up 🤷🏽‍♂️ oh also I am doing straight carnivore

I've lost 72 lbs since I started extended fasting in July 2023. I've mostly fasted for multiple weeks at a time though since I find my physical hunger practically goes away after a week (psychological hunger stays). I'm on day 12 of what I hope to be a 40 day fast (my longest by 5 days). Hopefully I'll be able to get to my target weight! An odd side effect of doing the really long extended fasts is that I ended up getting Gout. My uric acid levels only go up when I'm fasting, not from diet. It takes about a week for my levels to go too high, but now my Dr. has prescribed me Gout medication so I can keep fasting and losing weight.

that's awesome, don't give up! the first 3 days are the hardest, but if you can make it past a week, at least in my experience, you grow almost indifferent to food in terms of hunger. lots of caveats, yada yada yada with going this long though.

Enjoying watching you...very helpful. I made it through last week and did OMAD on the Weekend. I was upset at 1st. But I just used the Weekend as a Refeed. I'm not fasting (yet) but watching these videos has encouraged me to eat more mindfully and not avoid it. I've only lost 1 lb so far, but you're right! It's all about consistency. Digging into a salmon, broccoli & avocado bowl for breakfast. :-) I think I'll try adf soon.

great video, I have always adopted fasting for various reasons and I always remind people that the concept of fasting itself received the Nobel Prize a few short years ago, you can’t dispel fasting on this basis

I think you are right on the money when you were talking about eating processed foods and being more hungry when you fast. I believe this has to do with the high amount of sugar and other things in the processed foods. I have been eating vegetables, seeds, beans, greens, such as spinach, broccoli, onions, mushrooms, yogurt, tofu and a minimum amount of berries since March 8th and doing 72 hours fasts and I am not hungry. In fact, I will start 96 hours in April. Wow, I'm amazed.

Cooking for others fasted can sometimes be a challenge. When fasting, I usually only cook things that I don't need to taste or smell .. or unless a taster is readily available nearby. Not tasting or sampling was a difficult habit to overcome. It was eye-opening.. actually amusing.

You inspired me a long time ago and it’s the only thing that’s worked for me! I fast 3 days then eat all day on the 4th day since January 1st (200 to 160bs) with a weightloss of 40 lbs. I eat whatever I want on my feast days but have plateaued a bit. When I calculated my food I was still in a caloric deficit so maybe my body is repairing something. I haven’t been exercising so I added walking but my steps are like 3k and want to get them to 10k. I also will be eating a bit healthier the next feasting day as my goal is to be 130lbs.

Appreciate your channel and sharing. I`ve gained and lost the same 70 lbs countless times .. been doing keto and low carb and got the weight off .. but now fasting is keeping me on track , but definitely have struggled with jobs and relationships etc, due to binge eating and the effects from that .

Hey Jerome, i watched alot of videos. I'm doing 48-120h fasts since a month. I lost 38 lbs. I'm asking myself is it possible to keep the weight off after reaching my goals? Or will there be a rebound like on all the other diats? Also i cant find any studies on roling fasts.

Who would pay for those studies? With maintenance you have to make sure you stay in your zone. if you get back to the eating habits you had you'll get back to where you were.

@@Julia_Berrrlin You are right. I lost a few times over 40-50kg and gained it back after 2-3 years. And i had a better way to eat. But my metabolsim was just ruined from the calories cutting.

I did this before and Lost 67 pounds but I wasn't working and I was sleeping a lot In the beginning but now that I'm working I can't seem to do both. Work and water fast I believe after the first 3 or 4 days it should be easy

I wish my wife was supportive, i feel like she intentionally tries to sabotage me at every turn. i lost 40lbs doing keto then 15 more lbs 20hour fasting and i seemed to hit a pleatau....i want to do ADF to break thru but i know she wont like it.

ask your wife to do fasting with you and maybe then she will understand but family routines get in the way for me as well! Me and my wife have both sabotaged each other in the past but my wife is also trying to lose weight through fasting so she is a lot more understanding when I want to continue my fast and she does not

When I trained my body to fast years ago, family members were not supportive.. but in a loving way. The more I learned about fasting and was not only able to show them but also articulate from a metabolic perspective what I was doing and how it was helping, they accepted it and now even support it. In the meantime, if doing ADF on eating days spend time with your wife and on fasting days stay busy and doing your own thing away from her (at work, outside recreational or yard work etc.) Or take a fasting vacation or stay-cation apart from each other.

This looks like the fastest way to lose weight. But when the fast is finish you gotta switch to a healthy diet or do a 1 meal a day & 1 healthy snack before 7 at night

I need in person accountability. U need custom made clothes or go to an alterations place. I need to do an extended type of fast the least damaging way to do this. The fast doesn't damage .eating a large amount does quickly.. I'm thinking if I should just eat vegetables twice a day With a little protein. So my brain doesnt even want the fried food and chees and ice creams junk. I need some one to help me my friends and family eat bad. It irritates me
