I did same and looked up new blades and they were more than the clipper. I called whal and they sent packs of replacements for free. They are a good company. They rather you have your old stuff working.

I wouldn’t either, but he mainly only does Tapers so that blade can be managed while doing tapers, he uses a guard for the longer part of his head so it won’t really matter, anyone who has been cutting for a while would still be able to use that blade and have a successful cut when it’s simple cuts like he gets and it’s his head so I don’t think he cares if it’s off just a little bit, now if he were cutting clients he’d have to have a new blade.

@Jordan Andre you're buggin..I wouldn't use that blade on me or my clients with or without a guard...the guy bought a detachable blade just for the cutting blade to be able to zero gap the clipper, I'm gonna guess those blades cost $40+. Why would I spend money and my problem is not solved 🤔 😮‍💨 But what do I know I only been cutting for 15 years....

I said someone who has been cutting for a while could manage them if they had to especially just doing tapers, I also stated even if experienced, you should never cut a client with a chipped blade, all I did was state that I or experienced barbers could manage that chipped blade and cut if I’m only doing tapers.
