I have a question - every time I am rejected and I am going to see that person regulary, I behave like nothing happened, try to be civil, kind, sometimes I try talking to such person - not much, just to keep life going and not to feel weird - and every single time I do this - the guy becomes totally ice cold, until the level he is completely ignoring me. Are those guys so sure I must be in love with them they actually think that if they responded politely I am going to trap them somehow? Cause it was never my intention, however, every time I am given such a cold treatment I feel like crap, what increases my anxiety and puts me in a low self-esteem. And it also happened, that because of this ignoring, I started developing feelings more, while when I made the decison to let it go and be okay with the concept that someone can have no romantic feelings towards me - I was fine. Right now I have so enough of this, I started doing it to other people, just to save my face before they do the exact same thing to me. It sucks.
