If you rap your second zip tie around the first one like a cross so to speak it will hold the cord straight vs pulling it inward and putting pressure on the inlet and it will be tighter, it makes the first one act as a bridge. just another tip hope it helps someone and thank you for the video

notes for if u have a zf6 like myself. to pull pcm the mount has to be taken off aswell. they are 2 10mm bolts one on top the mount. one below it. to reinstall you will have to put the pcm in the mount then bolt the mount up, u cannot fit the connector for the pcm out the firewall if you try to install the mount first without the pcm in it.... i tried.

I have a 2000 Econoline Cutaway Ambo. The vans do not have intercoolers, do you have tunes that are appropriate for me?

Cant you use some sort of solvent or silicon remover?

I did exactly what you did and it worked. The weirdest thing I ran into was when I did an initial start and flipped it to tune 6 the truck died. But restarting it and flipping through all the tunes it was fine after that. Really odd though

Nice video on the installation but the only problem I have with it is I'm sitting here wondering how many people have watched this video did exactly like the guy making the video then ended up blowing out the chips in there ecm because of static electricity any time you mess with electronics you should wear a grounding strap so you don't risk inducing static electricity into the ecm circuit also known as esd

Mechanics shop installed new injectors on my 2002 F350 recently. For whatever reason, they said my ECM was fried due to the Hydra yet it was running when I sent it to them and my Hydra was working fine. Anyway, my Hydra will not work now. It will not start when I plug it in. Did they erase my programs or could it have possibly actually fried my old ECM? New ECM, same old Hydra that came with the truck when I bought it. Ty very much for any info.

What happens when you take the Hydra off the truck before you sell it

The 10 mm bolt right there? I didn’t see any bolt. Too fast and not a clear view. My bolt had about 100 wires curving over the top of the bolt. You could have mentioned that the bolt stays in there. It’s hard to tell when it’s disconnected.

So how important is the ground clips?..what will happen if you don’t use them when you reinstall pcm
