I did the art exercise and it was very intriguing. I got a lot of answers I was not expecting and sometimes I got no clear answers at all. My inner child has wings and wants to get more opportunities to use them.

The best way to let out emotions from the inner child is right when you are triggert by something.👍 Thats is the perfect opportunity for crying and or screeming into a pillow and after that its very important to soothe the amygdala and the nervous system with the self-havening technique🙏 and soothing affirmations that you repeat in your head like someone else says them to you. You subconscious mind does not differentiate wether you hear these words in real life or you say them in your head - it really is like that. "You are save here. I protect you. You are allowed to feel all your feelings. I will always take you in my arms when you need me." - few of these affirmations are from Shelly Bullards inner child healing meditation (on youtube). You can imagine someone like a guardian angel or a protective character from your favorite movie or book saying these affirmations to you like they are really here with you. This is what helped me soo much. I started with my inner healing like this⬆ last year in october and feel less and less triggert and also use other loving affirmations for self love when I fall asleep and when i wake up - in these moments the door to the subconscious mind is wide open for reprogramming. I also use journaling for whatever comes up in my mind.

Thank you for sharing such a detailed method of working through emotional triggers and connecting with your inner child. It's impressive to see the multifaceted approach you've taken, from immediate emotional release to soothing techniques and affirmations. You're spot-on about the subconscious mind; it really doesn't differentiate between words spoken by you or someone else. Your insights can be a game-changer for people looking for concrete ways to cope with emotional highs and lows. I'm particularly intrigued by your recommendation to use soothing affirmations at the start and end of your day, capitalizing on the moments when the subconscious mind is most receptive. This holistic approach, blending emotional release with self-soothing and even a touch of pop culture inspiration, shows a lot of thoughtfulness and a willingness to explore and adapt. It's excellent to hear that you've experienced significant progress since you began your inner healing journey last year. Keep up the excellent work!

Yes! So difficult to calm that energy child and not feel drained and frustrated in the process.

I saw right away, in your scribble, a nurturing mother holding a swaddled baby. Ooof, I was not ready for your emotional exercise to hit me like that, girl I'm crying at work now :) Keep up the amazing work!

This was so amazing and helpful. I've been feeling stuck with how to listen to my inner child and how to love myself, and keep asking HOW?! TAhis was a great exercise in helping me to contextualize that. I tried it and found it pretty fascinating and am looking forward to talking with my therapist about it more in our next session. Thank you so much!

You are the only one that has brought up the abuse side which is major core wound in most if not all of the attachment disorders

Core belief I'd like to change most: My value lies in my usefulness/productivity/busyness and doing it perfectly... You summarized IFS really well. People can get so bogged down trying to explain it, but yours was super helpful! Gave me a better understanding of the firefighter role...for some reason, I thought it was the part that torched the trigger source and environment, rather than spraying it down with numbing, but your explanation makes more sense!

Wow, I am 12 minutes in and I am loving this. Such a clear explanation thank you so much. I took ur quiz after it popped up on a video I was going to watch and have instead subscribed to ur channel and been navigating ur videos and sending them to my family and friends. I can't afford the course atm but I'm sure it's well worth every single penny! Thank you so much!

You had me till the drawing thing..unless you’re doing it for the “inner child” because doesn’t seem like an adult solution..it’s catering to the not growing up
