Hello, it's Chucky!
As the weather gets hotter and hotter, you'll start to crave something light and refreshing.
The perfect thing for times like these is the tomato umadashi salad I'm introducing today.
The sweet and sour taste of tomatoes and the refreshing aroma of shiso leaves are a perfect match for this salad, allowing you to enjoy a truly blissful moment.
It's also super easy to make! All you have to do is mix it up, so even beginners can make it easily.
This time, to make this salad even more delicious, I've topped it with crunchy dried small sardines.
The crunchy texture and umami flavor make it an exquisite salad like nothing you've ever tasted before, so please give it a try.
So, here we go!
I'll show you how to make a refreshing tomato umadashi salad.
Ingredients: 2 tomato, 2 shiso leaves, 2 tablespoons dried small sardines, 2 tablespoons dark soy sauce, 1 tablespoon sesame oil, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon whole chicken soup base, 1 teaspoon roasted sesame seeds. Directions: 1. Heat the dried small sardines in a 600w microwave until crispy. 2. Mix the dark soy sauce, sesame oil, lemon juice, and whole chicken soup base together. 3. Cut the tomatoes into bite-sized pieces. 4. Tear the shiso leaves with your hands. 5. Mix the tomatoes and shiso leaves together in the second bowl. 6. Place in a bowl and top with dried small sardines. Finished! Tomato Umadashi Salad is a staple summer dish that you should definitely remember. It's very easy to make, but the taste is superb.
Let's get through this summer feeling refreshed with a tomato umami salad!
