That's unbelievable. Literally an hour ago my mother asked me to make pumpkin cookies and I was like "I have no recipe for it, only pumpkin pancakes". And here you are with your cookies 🙂 it's a miracle! I'm making them asap

I love and laugh out loud at how annoyed John's voice and face gets every time he has to tell us that Allspice is NOT a combination of all the spices! He should make a video about all the annoying questions he constantly gets. That would be fun to watch. But it wouldn't stop the questions from coming, LOL.

I do appreciate things like that though. While I understand that in a lot of cases dark/light brown sugar can be substituted, but someone who doesn't bake might not.

I made a few batches of these for my family of 30 for Thanksgiving and saying they were a hit in an understatement. I hoped some people would take some home afterwards because I thought there would be a ton left but no. They were ALL eaten. Best cookies I've ever had and I will definitely be making these for every Thanksgiving from now on! Thank you

I made these today... they were a huge hit! Took them with me to a little family gathering. My nieces and nephews had never had pumpkin anything before (such great calamity!😱) and they loved them, as did my parents. My nephew even ended up "stealing" the three that were left at the end. 😂 I've even set a date to make these again with my nieces. Thanks for all the wonderfully delicious recipes!😋

I just made these today & they are one of the best cookies I've ever tasted! So thick, fluffy & tender. I didn't read the recipe directions carefully & didn't notice I was supposed to refrigerate the dough until after they'd been in the oven for 3 minutes. Didn't matter a bit; they still came out absolutely perfect. I also used 5-6 tsp of pumpkin pie spice & omitted the other spices listed. I made a cream cheese frosting instead of the glaze. To-die-for delicious!

I made the drizzle using 2 tablespoons of pumpkin spice coffee creamer instead of the milk and added the vanilla as listed- it was sooo good!

I made these for the first time on the 14th. Ive never made nor had a pumpkin cookie. I own a bakery so I am always looking for new ideas, OMG let me tell you what. These things are gone before they even come out of the oven. I have now made almost 10 dozen in the past couple days. And the fresh grated nutmeg HUGE difference. thank you so much for this recipe, it is now a thing at my shop!

Made these today and they are soooo goood❤️❤️. Took them out after 11 minutes and they did not look quite done but I trusted you and they were perfect! Light and fluffy and so flavorful. Made sure not to over mix too.

@Eugene Hausenfus I think so but I can't say for sure. I made them for my nephews and nieces and the two older ones (ages 12 and 13) really liked them, my niece even came up to me to tell me she loved them, but the two younger ones (5 and 8) were pretty indiferent. It was around Halloween so they were more focused on the candy.
