I accidentally locked my keys in my F-150 Ford. I had my brother rig open the door in order for me to get to my keys. When I finally got my keys I went to turn on my truck and the theft light came on. Ever since then I've been breaking my head trying to figure out how to deactivate the theft system. FWIW My 2016 Ford Focus doesn't chime. Not sure why, but I just watched the lights on the dash and waiting until the BRAKE light on the speedometer turns off is the equivalent of the "chime". So just wait for that on each key turn and it'll work like a charm.

I am so very thankful for your video. The ignition programming went without a flaw. The "fob" part took me several tries before I got the telltale door locks locking indicating I was in the program mode, so do not give up! Thank you again! If you were local I would buy you lunch!

Alright! I really am impressed. Easy as 1,2,3. Thank you. I did take the fob apart and was worried that the servos were bad, and I felt that I may need to replace the fob. But it worked. Now I am going to get a second key and fob. The car came with only one. I will use this video to program the key and new fob. Thank you. The car is a 2005 Mercury Marquis.

Thanks so much for the instructions; it ABSOLUTELY works my keys and key fobs are programmed. 2 keys from Amazon for $30 bucks - Home Depot cut for $3 bucks each and the dealership was asking for $250 for one key.

You need 2 keys to program a third key. So if I lose one of my keys I can always make another spare. If I have two keys and lose one I would have to pay someone to make a new key for me

Well, YES. That is good thinking Hindsight 101, and certainly lives up to your You Tube user name. I was just meaning that the majority of people needing a new key, have already LOST their spare, or BOTH keys already. I think very few people are as precautious as you are. I do see your point though, and agree with it!

Life: Hindsight 101 I just learned this the hard way also to have my original key found three days after I had a locksmith cut and reprogram two keys for me, now I’ll be reprogramming my third key.

Just did my 2011 F250. Worked like a charm. The new remote doesn't have the remote start function but that key wont need it. The remote door lock and unlock work just fine with your method too. Thanks

Hi guy... You saved my day. I got a variant for a Mondeo 2001 GHIA, To reprogramming fob after ampty battery. I turn from ‘3’ (contact position) to ‘0’ 4 times quickly, and then I listened the chime, then I pressed the ‘close the door button’, and voilà, my fob resurtected (yes 4 times not eight)

Touching the break broke one of my relays and my engine fan wouldn't turn of. Ran my battery low and had to boost it. The relay was only $15 for 2, but I would like to reiterate, don't touch the break in the process.

So , I just bought a key from ford. It was $135 just for the key and then they wanted an additional 300 to program. It’s just the key with a chip. I said I’ll come back. Thanks to your video I was able to program my key by myself in less than a minute. I’m so pissed that they were actually going to charge me that much for what I just did with no tools. Thanks again.

Thank you so much!...and for anyone wondering like I was, you don't need two master keys. I used a valet and a master (in that order) and the new key was programmed and worked like a master key!

Great video. I have 2 original keys to my 2015 Escape. Can I buy 2 additional (now total of 4) and program the 2 additional at the same time? Of would I have to follow your procedure twice. Once for the 3rd key, and all the steps all over again for key #4? Any help appreciated!

Thanks for the video I was very easy and simple it worked on my Lincoln mkx. I bought 2 keys on eBay I bought them to Walmart have them cut they didn't charge me bc I bring my own keys. But only one worked still very happy thank you so much.

All other methods failed. This video and your method worked great on a 2013 F150 STX! Thanks! It worked on the first attempt..Programmed to start and all the buttons worked without a second procedure.
