Man you're the best!! previously, I went to 3 different stores to do this work and nobody knew how to program it, they only said that it was impossible because it was incompatible. then I saw this video and I tried it on my Ford escape 2013 with a ford Mustang flip key type designed for ford escape. Just did it with my 2012 Ford Focus SE and it worked just how you did it on the video, I had to change the PCM in my car and when they did it messed up the programming of the alarm system, so I went to RU-vid and found your video and tried it and it worked so double thumbs up to you bro for sharing your video! 🙂❤️👍

Will this method programming works on 1996 Mercury Sable for keyless entry remotes.

I found that there are additional steps for the 2005 Mercury Mountaineer. (May work on other vehicles having issues as well). Start from the seated position with the doors closed. 1. open the driver door. 2. press the unlock button on the driver door. 3. turn the key to the run position 8 times, leaving it in the run position on the 8th turn (doors will lock and unlock). 4. press any key on the new key fob (doors will lock and unlock). (Repeat for each additional key fob). 5. Turn ignition off (doors will lock and unlock). Test each key fob.

Turn ignition from OFF to RUN 8 times for my Windstar according to the cars manual. My issue is the "Door locks will cycle to confirm programming mode" this does not happen. How do I get it in Program mode? Any suggestions?

My 98 mustang I just bought used, the battery went dead, got another battery, replaced the wires with acid, juice is getting to the car(dash lights,dome light,the head lights) but won't turn over at all. It has anti theft but light is not flashing. Now- remote no longer works now either(generic remote, not oem) also remote only worked driver side door (cannot use key in door at all it's bent up looks like someone tried to pry it open) driver side panel doesn't even work passenger side and has to be locked manually. I have 1 key and 1 remote (non oem) am I going to be able to reset it? Could it be that anti theft is thrown off due to the the doors not locking properly ? Everything worked perfectly until the battery went dead! No problems! Any ideas? (And starter is fine, checked fuses but will recheck again, will replace battery in fob too, was a bit weak) any other ideas? Please?

I just bought a used 2006 Ford Escape, The Dealer I bought it from programmed the remote. For some reason, if I lock it, all the doors will lock, but, it I unlock it, all the doors unlock except the drivers door. Also there is no horn chirp. Any thoughts on this?

Hi! I have a Ford Explorer 3 (2004) and all previous key fobs are lost, there is only a physical ignition key. I bought one of the key chains you're talking about. After 7 (or 8) turns of the key, the machine switches to programming mode, but pressing the buttons on the keychain does not lead to anything. Hi, I am having a problem with remote key with my ford explorer 2010. I changed the battery cell of the remote and afterwards, it was not working. I tried to reprogram it but still no use however during the reprogramming the remote works but after exiting the reprogramming procedure, the remote doesn't work at all. I tried this on my vehicle (2009 Focus), and it didn’t work. Am I supposed to have the door shut while turning it eight times?? (Website for lock told me to turn it on and off eight times and press button EXACTLY like you did in this video; but nothing happened. Oh, and I knew that I wasn’t supposed to turn the engine on/start up the car...)
