How to remove Holden VE Commodore front bumper bar ( Omega, SS, SV6 etc) 

You're welcome. I had a hard time taking it off the first time with the vague info available out there, so thought I'd make this vid to help out anyone else wanting to do the same. Good luck! :)

Excellent thanks mate, I have the SV6, only difference there is there is 4 bolts on the underside of the bar and you have the fog light leads to deal with once removed. Cheers.

Just decided to come too close to the garage wall and reversed back out with half the bumper staying behind. Not feeling so bad now knowing it's not much to take it off. Cheers for the video.

Legend, thank you. Two of my front parking sensors had popped into the bumper. Luckily I only had to pull half of it out.

thanks heaps mate i just got pulled over by the cops and i have some old spotlight brackets sticking out... nearly got a fine for it being dangerous.. so now i know how to take them off... good job thanks a heap

Is this the same procedure for a VE Series 2 Calais? Also, I could not remove the radiator grill as shown. It doesn't just lift out. There are six clips in the form of "tabs" which are part of the grill body. The side ones can be removed but the others are stuck fast and I didn't want to use too much force. In fact, all I want to do is get access to a parking sensor that has been pushed in and if I can remove the grill that should give me room without having to remove the whole bumper.

hey man you know how they got this hard black plastic underneath the front bumper? can that just be detached and another hard plastic bit put on or does the whole bumper need to be replaced as the black plastic bit for mine has bent underneath a little

Do you need to do this when changing light bulb? My main driving light is not working on the driver's side.
