Easier way. 1. Disconnect your battery. 2. Remove the plastic shroud behind the steering wheel. 3. This gives you access to the 4 torx that hold the air bag on. You have to turn the steering wheel right and left to get to them. Remove the air bag and you now have full access to the trim pieces. No risk of breaking them, scratching the newly painted ones, etc.
I just wrapped mine lol I hate messing with paint and it came out pretty damn good I wasn't expecting a wrap vinyl to look so good! Still had to remove the trimming so thanks so much for the video bro. Btw your truck looks killer bro keep it up
nice videos, I was wondering if you can or look into installing hdmi input into i05 radio for the silverado. I wanna hook up my chromecast. the i06 upgrade for nav. and video is like 1000+ .. thanks
Thanks for the video Jorge. I'm pulling my 2015 Sierra SLT, [with all the controls on the back of the steering wheel] trim out to wrap all of the aluminum and wood looking pieces in a black (really it's dark grey) brushed aluminum look.
Hey bro does the other side have a plug to just hook up a audio console the right side of the steering wheel mine doesnt have one and i wanna add one but not sure if its just plug and play or i actually have to run a whole wire to allow it to control from the steering wheel
