#WindowCord #WindowRope #WindowSashCord
Window rope used is 1/4 inch cotton rope from Amazon.
In this house built in the 1800s many of the wooden windows had broken ropes (aka cords). So before you think about replacing the window, you can fix the problem yourself with just some rope. The process is fairly simple and you don't need any special tools to get the job done.
In order to replace your broken window sash rope or cord, you will need to access the weights inside the window jamb.
In this video I go over step by step instructions on how to replace the broken sash cords.
