In this episode, we will be delving into the reasons why many women tend to seek validation from men. We will be exploring the various factors that contribute to this behavior and how it affects women's self-esteem and self-worth.
Moving forward to Part 2, we will be discussing practical exercises and options that can help women break free from this cycle of seeking male validation. These exercises are designed to help women build up their confidence and self-assurance, enabling them to define their own worth and value, rather than relying on external validation. By the end of this episode, we hope that women will have a better understanding of why they seek male validation and how they can empower themselves to break free from this limiting pattern of behavior.

I’m so glad you’re speaking on this. It’s a trap to your self esteem. So abusive and disrespectful to the creator of the universe. Obviously it’s ok to be validated by others we love but women seem to can’t break this spell or curse and it’s annoying when they try to transfer that cursed energy unto you with all their power. Truly sad to observe constantly

Thank you! I am super deliberate about delighting in my daughter and step son’s achievements. I was raised in a ‘sea’ of children so I have no memory of having one on ones with my parents. I can’t recall a single time I was looked at as an individual, told I was cherished or any of that. I think it left a gap in me which I am now trying to self parent away. Meanwhile, as an adult, my parents, especially my mum is one of my best friends. We’ve spoken to each other, she’s apologized to me, explaining to me her own struggles which I couldn’t see then. It’s getting better. I hope all this translates into a better growing experience for my own kids.

Your voice is so soothing. Thank you for this video. It explains why in the past I used to have so much anxiety when it came to dating and relationships. I was centering men and making them the end all be all. Love your channel 💕✨

I feel like this video is a God send for me. This randomly came up in my for me as I was feeling down about wanting to be in a relationship and the dating experience being very stale for me. I started reflecting on how maybe this is my season to really hone in on me and do better when it comes to loving me. Thank you for this. 💕✨🤗

Loving this! Patriarchal conditioning is so layered...I never considered myself the type of women who lived to pls men. Even as a child I found them so irky- I saw how women were more free without them around, I saw them suck all the air and focus...and I just kinda thought even at like 9 years old - F that! I had no desire to follow the subservient “wifey” or “good woman” path...I can’t even cook lmao well barely, bc I never wanted to be that domestic woman. I wanted to be free and autonomous....and yet I literally still centred the hope of meeting “my man” and holding my breath to feel settled in life, still resentful of not having what society said we should all have by 33...so yet it still impacted me HUGELY, and it’s only recently I’ve discovered this topic and comp het, due to a document Kehlani had referenced where she then realised she’s actually a lesbian. Basically I was still centring men in many other ways and pedestalling their validation and desire in choosing me as a life partner...agh so glad the veil has lifted a lil. I feel so much better and happier about my beautiful life and wish to trust the unique path that the universe sees fit to serve my and all’s highest good....maybe our purpose isn’t always being partnered, I appreciate my path #AmorFati

You gave me such an ah-ha moment!! I was a parentified child and have been learning about how difficult it is for us to have our own identities etc but i never connected it to im literally obeying someone elses desires because it is a rooted pattern from childhood. Im in a situation that i keep beating myself up over, finding myself yearning for someone who has pursued me at work that i genuinely know i do not want to be with. I cant just avoid him but maybe this insight can help me put up boundaries with a meaningful backing

It definitely can. Remember that all it takes is for you to decide that your life is your own and to honor that.

Ur describing my life rn. I loathe having this desire. I was always a “tomboy” and yet I grew up wanting them to like me. First of all im 23 never had a boyfriend except when I was in middle school . I did not grow up with a dad so I dont if thats why Im desperate for them to like me. And yes I agree that I wasnt equipped with the tools because I observe others some younger then me (literally 18) having completely secure attachments. Self confidence. I was let down in this sector

one way to see that is imagen a woman married to an other woman would you see her as wiser? to before she was married ? i dont thing so she may have that in her character but if she doesnt than you wouldnt have seen her like that. Now imagen a woman married to a man... why to you see her as wiser but not if she was single even tho she didnt change internally ? You were right that you put that up because it was something that i had subconsciously and i didnt even notice! until you said it. Very true...

Thank you for making this kind of content. I started to question myself about why do I feel the need to receive male attention even though I feel scared of it(?) and I came to the conclusion that maybe studying feminism history and womens movements could be good for me to help decenter males from my life or something like that. Your videos have also been an amazing guide to reflect! Again, thank you!

Studying these subjects definitely help you find the words to what you feel. Sometimes you know you are feeling something, but you can't quite articulate it and feminist theories provide that.
