I purchased a 2017 Silverado 1500 and when I press navigation, it prompts me to navstar location start instead of the gps map.

You have to press the onstar button that is on your middle rear view mirror and the thing is it’ll call an onstar operator and you tell then where you want to go and then they put the direction in your vehicle

You need a subscription to onstar/nav Or you can usb cable your phone to the usb in the truck, it will mirror your phone ❤

I purchased a 2017 my temp. Reading shows 65° but it's 72° how do I reset or calibrate it.

When we enter an address in the GPS it starts and gives only the first command and then makes a sound and never speaks any more commands---Why? Chevy Silverado 1500 Year 2015

You didn't show how to save and find saved location (in the destination portion of the app). Can you update?

Mine doesn't show any options. Just the navigation symbol. Is that normal?

My question is Do you need to Download the Chevrolet app to access the Navigation system on a 2018 sliverado 1500 Truck?? Asking for a Friend

Hi Lee, great question. If your 2018 Silverado is equipped with embedded navigation, it will work without use of the Chevrolet app. The app has no barring on the navigation system for a 2018 Silverado 1500. If the Silverado is not equipped with embedded navigation, then there's two options to get navigation on the infotainment screen. One is through Apple CarPlay/Android Auto projection. The other is through an installation process we can do here! I hope this helps :)

I have a 2016 Silverado 2500hd LTZ is there a way to add teen driver mode it says I have valet mode but teen isn’t on there and I feel like it should be anybody know?

Hi Derek, Unfortunately Teen Driver mode wasn't an option on Silverado's for the 2016 model year. It was introduced the following year on the 2017 Silverado line-up.

My mother in law had something upgraded for free at the Cadillac dealership that was a new improvement for software or something is there really no way I can get it on software upgrade or something? Truck only has 32k miles
