For anyone else who had this issue and jumped straight to this for a first solution, try the "reset" button first. Press and holdd for few seconds, that fixd my problem.
Thanks for this, this boiler was already in the house we bought and for some reason it just decided to ignore the thermostat and put the heating on full blast. Didn’t know what to do.
Hi, really glad it saved you time and stress, and really glad to have helped. If your boiler is a combi boiler then for helpful energy saving information, please see myboiler.com/money-and-energy-saving/?source=ytc Section 2 boiler settings to help reduce your gas usage for condensing boilers and other tips. JK.
Hi there! I have this boiler and the heating only seems to work in the chimney sweep mode? Hot water is fine but unsure whether I need to adjust the min/max here. any thoughts are much appreciated. cheers
Hi, it seems like your controls are not connected or not working properly to switch your boiler on. Min/Max mode is only an engineer mode to confirm that the boiler is working and for test/service purposes. JK
Hi, sorry this message was held for review. As best practice, your central heating should not be controlled from the boiler except if the timer is built into the boiler. You need corrections if the right controls are not in place. JK
I have the same boiler and when the heating water gets below 30c (which is the lowest setting) the boiler keeps kicking in all the time. To raise it above 30c I’m guessing this is not right. The thermostat is set down to 10c over summer. So should not kick in?
Hi, it's possible the controls wiring has not been correctly done, or link not removed, and finally there is a possibility the programmer you have is faulty, unless it is a worcester bosch built in programmer, which is less likely to be faulty. JK
@@MyBoiler thank you for the reply I changed the thermostat and receiver unit, and the boiler is fully function properly now. Thanks again for the reply much appreciated 👍
Hi, really glad to have helped. Also energy saving information for your combiboiler, please see myboiler.com/money-and-energy-saving/?source=ytc Section 2 boiler settings to help reduce your gas usage for condensing boilers and other tips. JK. REPLY
Hi, this video is for heating professional mode. The one you want is flow temperature settings. As a guideline 55 degrees and below guarantees high efficiency. Generally lower the better. See myboiler.com/money-and-energy-saving/?source=ytc especially section 2. JK
Hi can’t you help mate? I have the same boiler and recently every shower anyone in the household has the water is hot for 1 minute and then goes freezing for 1 minute then hot then freezing on repeat every minute, I’ve pressed info and it’s coming up with two things • i2 276 flow sensor fault • and also • A1 i2 281 Pump Error •. So annoying had a plumber round twice so sort it and he’s never once been able to fix it just need some advise please
Hi, just saw your message as was held for review. If it's a combi boiler, quite possibly the heat exchanger for hot water is partially blocked or a sensor issue. If you want a guranteed fix, we suggest you just contact Worcester Bosch themselves, it may cost more, but the work is done by them and fixed price. JK
Hi can you help? I have pump error code and no heating hot water I did this reset and the nunbers started counting up really fast so I got scared and turned it off at the wall incase it blew up 😂😂😂😂 haha
Hi, sorry your message was held for review. Seems like you have some restrictions, temperature only climbs if there is a blockage or restriction. The boiler has safety built to prevent any problems as long as everything has been maintained. So no chance of blow up in new boilers unless safety has been tampered with. JK
