Wasn't Dirk's Denizen Yaldaboth as well? i don't remember if that was officaly confirmed or not but i recall the iconogrophy on his planet was similar enough? I would postulate that Yaldaboth is given to players with highly destructive tendencies and Combat ability. Beta timeline Dirk has mildly psychotic tendencies which are also mirroed through the A.R. Alpha timeline Dirk was thankfully able to manage these feelings in a much healthier way and is much better off for it. But on the flip side Dirk is tied into Lord English so the mark of an antagonist is there as well

One thing I find interesting about Nyx is that her corresponding goddess in Greek mythology is the night itself, but through coupling with the darkness Erebos, she produced Aether and Hemera-- *light* and day. Void-bound Roxy's denizen is Nyx, but through ectobiology she had Light-bound Rose. It's a cool little nod to the source mythology. I don't know know if anyone ever mentioned this before, but I thought it was a fun little tidbit to share.

Great video, very informative. I think I'm going to try designing a Land because I'm bored. Since I based my title (Rogue of Time) around my tendency to procrastinate for no good reason (shit, I'm doing it right now, aren't I), it'd make sense if my Land reflected this. So, procrastination. That's a bit too broad for a Land modifier, if you ask me, so let's think about what procrastination is associated with. Procrastination -> Deadlines -> Schedules -> Trains Trains are pretty specific! Let's go with that. Now, "Trains" is all fine and dandy, but a train is also related to Space, in that it is a device designed for spatial transport, so it might make sense to have the second Land modifier be more clear on the fact that this Land is for a Time-player. Since "Trains" is already so nicely specific, though, I can quite easily use something like "Procrastination" as my second Land modifier. However, that's a bit too on-the-nose for my taste. Let's make it a bit harder to see what the Land is about! Procrastination -> Laziness So, Land of Trains and Laziness. My main idea for this Land is "Something something Western movies" (since, y'know, trains), but apart from that, I don't have anything too specific in mind. Maybe a bunch of trainyards and definitely lots of railroads between the towns. As for the Land's quest, I do have a few more ideas there. The consorts in this Land treat the train conductors like celebrities. The problem is that these train conductors are the denizen's double agents. Actually, they're not even train conductors. They just say that they are and postpone the actual conducting until their shift is over. The quest is to expose the double agents and find ways to get their jobs done afterwards. As for the consorts, I thought about going with snakes, but I feel like that's kinda dumb, considering a) it's Caliborn and Calliope's theme and b) snakes don't have arms, so how'd a Snake consort do literally anything? So I picked Iguanas, because nothing else really fit into the whole western theme. Denizen is Hephaestus, as is apparently customary for Time players. Scratch Construct time! The Scratch Construct of the Land of Trains and Laziness is one of those train whistle-things, only bigger. To scratch the session, you have to make a shitton of steam to sound the whistle. Well, that took a while! I feel like I'm STILL forgetting something. Oh, well! This was a fun little brainstorming.

I'm a Sylph of Light and currently kinda split on the nouns of my/my trollsona's planet, but it's definitely (something) and shine. Whether it be locks, algae, or coral i haven't really decided yet. I have always felt drawn to Iris as a denizen, the greek goddess of rainbows. The consorts would probably be something fishy since it's largely a water world. Maybe seahorses or sunfish (ha). Sunfish are already scary and big enough tho??? DUDE i just had a revelation it could be lochs because water and my trollsona grew up in lakes their whole life holy heckkk I love homophones

After playing Persona 5 last year I really feel a different level of appreciation for all of the references to gnosticism in Homestuck. So much cool thematic stuff that I completely missed the first time around.

some characters that me and my friend made are... prince of life-land of asylum and argon. seer of void-land of dark and maze. knight of rage-land of trees and terrors. heir of space-land of candy and frogs.

As a Prince of Light my classpect is very screwy on what it actually is, I took the time to look at myself and what I do to get an idea of what I'm capable of. As I could tell from your vids(they're gr8 by the by) I would somehow be good at destroying how one interprets the world around them I think. I would really love to learn more about what I could do, I guess it would have something to do with lasers and darkness. I like to think I would be good at world building so I thought my land would something like Land of Light and Shadow(I may be referencing Twilight Zone) where the consorts would all hide underground to escape the light or something. I don't know what the denizen would be, maybe Citrus because I'm a Light player or Yaldabaoth(couldn't pronounce that if I tried) since like Dirk I'm a Prince(and may take over the world and destroy the knowledge of evil entirely, course it would get boring fast). I don't know what the "Impossible Task" would be, maybe removing knowledge or light. I must admit I am impressed with how Hussie came up with so much stuff from Gnosticism(I'm reading the Book of Enoch, it's boring and confusing but interesting simultaneously and maybe I'll read up on Gnosticism) I do world-building myself and could stand to place various philosophical/religious symbolism in it. I thank you for making these vids they're really informative.

I just wanted to say that after my comment on your last video, the pacing of the editing on the visuals on this one felt a lot more my speed than the previous ones. I had time to read and absorb the text on the screen and see how it related to the narration. Of course, it's a trade-off, as this less dense format means less visual content per video, but for me at least, the increased impact of having every scene fully sink in makes up for it. And to your request for a comments jam, I might as well share some lands from a fanfic I've been working on sporadically in my spare time: Land of Cobblestones and Penumbra -- For a Maid of Blood character, look and feel I was going for was shadowy Victorian streets lit by gas lamps. Land of Rivers and Savannah -- This one is for a Witch of Breath. Breath Heroes seem to get an atmospheric/meteorological keyword in their lands, but for reasons, I went with rivers as a symbol for directed movement in pursuit of one's quest. Land of Cherries and Longing -- This one's for a Mage of Heart. Anime Cliche of trees raining cherry blossom petals, but on a planetary scale. Land of Flare and Calcite -- Belongs to a split personality player who flips between being an Heir of Mind and a Page of Rage. Think J.J. Abrams levels of Lens Flare in a crystaline landscape where everything gets double refracted. Land of Fusion and Enigmas -- This one went to a Rogue of Doom. Remember the Rocket Pack/Cinderblock/Violin/Flowerpot amalgam John made by randomly punching a card in the designex? This is a land totally littered with conglomerations of objects in the same style. Also similar to how John's land had fireflies, and Jade's land had hummingbirds, LOFAE has little fairies flitting around. Land of Mushrooms and Percussion -- Prince of Time got this one. Tree sized mushrooms everywhere (think the Telvanni side of the island of Vvardenfell from the Elder Scrolls franchise), and interspersed in between, drums and beatbox machines of sizes ranging from toy to building sized. But in a twist, in the crown of each of those mushroom trees is a bomb that blows up in a big mushroom cloud should the tree get knocked over, which is prone to happen with any loud drumming of any especially large drums nearby. Harshly hostile environment for the player to explore, but the local legends hold that LOMAP holds the key for navigating the Furthest Ring. (spoiler, it's a map.) Land of Perfection and Genericisim -- The players in this session were actually using game mods on their session to try to manipulate the final outcome, and of course, modding brought a couple of glitches into the game. When the Seer of Void entered, he found that instead of a planet, his land was simply a planet-sized Perfectly Generic Cube.

I always found it weird that the denizens names matched the browser's names, so I decided to analyse it a bit. Browsers are instruments of accessing the infinite spring of information that is the internet as well as of engaging in electronic communication, actions very in line with the aspect of Light. The Denizens relate to that aspect through their omniscience and the fact that their heads are so bright you can't even see them. This, in turn, might be another metaphor for the internet, it's so full of information that it is easy to get lost in it, to find too many results on a subject, forcing you to judge the accuracy and usefulness of the knowledge presented, leading you to become even more confused and not find the answers you are seeking. Too much light can leave you blind.

I agree with everything in this video except your pronunciation of Calliope, but apparently we're both right and someone else already brought this up. Jake's importance to the narrative is something I hadn't considered before but it makes a distressing amount of sense now that you spell it out for me. Obviously, the connections to Lord English and the Cherubs were always there, but they sort of fall flat in the text of the comic until you start to think about them and his connection to Abraxas. Also worth noting: his alternate universe self, Jake Harley, is apparently the founder of Skaianet and therefore for the person who instigates the story in in-comic chronology as well: he's responsible for the creation of the Sburb Beta. That makes his random cameo helping John out on LOWAS also put me in mind of some of the crackier theories about Tom Bombadil from Lord of the Rings, i.e. that he is for some reason a physical manifestation of Eru, the Overgod who doesn't usually directly interfere with the material world but will apparently pop in just because Frodo needed a singing deus ex machina. I don't really get LotR but god knows Homestuck references it enough. Anyway, also of note since we're talking about Beta!Jake: Jake Harley also managed to get himself involved with inciting the action of Hiveswap, at least in terms of being the protagonist's father and key psychological motivator, and he probably had a lot to do with that snakey portal that, like all of Jake English's stuff, has direct symbological connections to the Cherubs and (now that you point it out) Abraxas. Of course, I think Jake Harley's got a looooooot of problems as a creator and parental figure, but maybe that parallel to Abraxas is still there. He's specifically "above" (Sophia's) Good and (Yaldabaoth's) Evil, after all.

I Never realized the denizens actually had ties to the characters. I Thought a god was chosen to be the denizen based off of how well one fits the theme. FOr example, CEtus is a water monster, and both ROse's and VRiska'splanets were primarily water. NIce to know HUssie didn't make the denizens an afterthought to fit the theme! I Had made two planets with denizens in the past, but they were to fit the theme. FOr example, I Used CHarybdis on the LAnd of TIdes and CHains, a planet of islands weighed down by chains tied to the sleeping denizen, slowly submerging the islands. MEfitis, a goddess of poisonous gases, for the LAnd of CHlorine and FAeries, a planet covered entirely in chlorine gas.

Denizens were always super cool to me, but I always found it annoying how they didn't become very relevant or explained until near the very end. I even had a lot of fun making an au where the denizen's and kids swapped positions, too bad we never got to see the denizens for the other aspects!

What if the world had flowing rivers? each symbolizing a timeline... being able to split into multiple timelines and possible merge timeline together. so to go with that idea what if i do "choices" since a single choice can lead down multiple paths or in this case rivers. That'll make the land of River and Choices...not sure about the sound of that title... going on to the personal quest perhaps the land's water source is being blocked by something like a rock and i need to go remove it or maybe the spring that which all water comes from is not functioning as well due to the denizen preventing the water from flowing. Though i'm unsure about which denizen, i get the feeling it'll be Yaldabaoth anyways loved the video~

What I find really interesting is that the definition of Denizen is "inhabitant or occupant of a particular place", which makes sense, since the Denizens do inhabit/occupy their respective planet, but the literal definition based off its original word parts mean "from within", then a good old -aeous, turning the word into an adjective (in Latin, anyways, which is what the definitions of its word parts are based on), which could reference the Denezin's tendency (or canonicity) of residing in the planet's core, as well as potentially metaphorically, to the player's "within", and in the same vein, a reference to the players' personal quests the denizens are integral to.

I'm late to the party, but, eh, now or never, I suppose. So I'm a Mage of Light, or at-least that's what I've inferred after several bouts of research and lots of re-taking quizzes. My land, from what I've gathered, is either supposed to reflect or hinder/challenge me in some way, and based on my own personality, which is... eclectically and sporadically intelligent (or that's essentially what I've been told, and intelligence seems to be tailored to/for Light players), we'll say, and the nature of the game to sometimes take your aspect to a literal level, I would say the first part would have to be Lightning. Loud, thunderous, unpredictable, and, quite literally, a bolt of light. Taking into account the experiences that have shaped who I am, which are barren and quite fruitless and lifeless (tragic backstory must be level 100 to unlock) and also is actually technically where I live now, I would say a desert would be quite fitting for the second part. Void of anything fruitful, yet also where I am most comfortable. So, the Land of Lightning and Desert it is. I'd imagine the landscape would be a bare and fairly lonely area, with sinkholes everywhere and a noticable lack of water and plant life. Maybe there's a crater where an oasis (supposedly) used to be. The goal could probably be to make those lightning clouds actually produce liquid, and bring life back into the planet. That, or the water could be buried deep underground, and the lightning could maybe be controlled in a way that could strike the spot it resides in. Maybe I could get lucky and have a Breath player in my circle, who could help by using their windy magic to transport it back to the surface. Either way works, in my opinion. Now, then, as for reptiles and amphibious consorts... a snake would be the obvious choice, but that complicates things with the cherubs, so maybe either a thorny devil or a horned lizard. A sharp and uninviting creature that can survive without lots of water sounds perfect for a planet comprised of desert sand and uncontrollable lightning storms, in my opinion. Well... that was that, I suppose. ^v^ How fun.

As the Rogue of Light, my land is The Land of Clovers and Dreams

I've got a p cool idea for a land so far: Land of Ginkgos and Rhythm sounds cool for a Bard of Time, especially with a paintball gun as a strife specibus. The land would be mostly grey stone/sand, with green and red swirling clouds, rivers and oceans of a dark red material and giant ginkgos with bright green leaves. Scratch construct being a giant phonograph with a wax cylinder in it, and the denizen ofc being the badass Hephaestus. I wish we got to see more of the canon lands in the A2 session, they were all super nice looking, honestly.

Hmmm i was thinking of the land of hills and dandelions.Ive considered myself a witch of hope for a while but now i could be a rogue and possibly a breath player.Good thing the dandelion part of the land fits both aspects.

On the Land of Castles and Darkness it is the Seer/Mage of Time's job to *know* what happened in the past and fix it, bringing light and (symbolic) life to the land

awesome as usual! As a rogue of breath my land would be the Land of Sky and Drifters. There is no planet surface, but hundreds and hundreds of floating islands varying in size housing gliding lizard consorts. My quest would revolve around my denizen (not sure which, probably something linked with being outnumbered?) forcing islands to crash into each other and being far too powerful to challenge in small numbers, leaving me to unite an army of the drifting and unorganised consorts and some of my fellow players. (Links to my role as the rogue of breath, the re-arranger of motivation via persuading consorts to join me) It would conclude with me confronting my denizen, who immediately slaughters half of my army in a single attack and gives me the choice to leave, or continue fighting knowing that all of the consorts I have gathered will die. Regardless of my choice my consorts will want to fight, but they only stand a chance of winning if I am there (cause my crazy wind powers, regardless of reaching god tier. I'm fairly comfortable with and understand my aspect so I'd have some degree of control over actual wind by this point anyway) This will complete lessons in leadership and dedication to a cause (which I struggle with now) that will prove important in leading the players in my session to victory, and coming to terms with possible loss of life that will occur during the important cause of creating a universe. oof! sorry that was a bit long, I think about sburb a lot. A personalised quest which changes you as a person is very appealing to me

For me as a mage of space I'd like to think I'd have the Land of Edges and Frogs. With a bunch of skinks as consorts. Echidna as the denizen of corse. What are your thoughts on the totem animals(i.e. Johns fireflies or jades hummingbirds) that inhabit the lands?

Im a Sylph of Void, a Derse dreamer, and is in the Land of Darkness and Silence. My quest revolves around accepting the misfortune, the emptiness, the feeling of lacking something. I dont know which deity to have as a denizen, i was thinking one about silence, emptiness, void, or illusions, i found some but none really hit home

(I don't know if I already commented.) Class and Aspect: Knight of life. Land: Land of Sand and Ruins. The planet at first is a dead desert planet with a lot of shore sade species. The planet is covered in empty ruined cities with large statues of primary the former natives (the consorts). The land is also ravaged by giant sandstorms There are fountains scattered across the ruins that when fixed and reactivated brings life to the surrounding land. The plant life most closely resembles the Minecraft Aether mod. (Including some clouds.) Reactivating the fountains is part of my quest as well as caring fore a yung femail consort that follows me for most of the story. The consorts are not all dead with their being two colonies near both the poles. The consorts are green alligators (based on the Chinese alligator.) Thay do have slightly different proportions with the female consorts having a slightly larger upper chest (Feminine figure) and the males are slightly stronger and larger. (Masculine figure.) I know that the consorts are only side characters but I wanted to do something with them.

Land of Glass & Forges (LoGaF)

An interesting fact about the land naming system, the nouns used in the lands name actually follows different rules when in a different type of session like a void session or dead session. In a void session, for example, instead of the normal structure of one noun relating to player's interests or aspect - second noun relating to player's interests or aspect, it's instead first noun some synonym of grave - second noun noble gas. the grave synonym is to reflect that the session itself, along with any consorts that were there at any point in time, is either doomed or already dead. the noble gas is a reflection of how the session is very uneventful, as noble gasses cant react with any other chemical, thus, is very uneventful in nature.

You deserve a lot more subs. I think my land would be the land of masks and Mercury. The poisonous liquid metal Mercury would represent the way I am with people, I try to flow around them and damage them somehow in the process. The masks represent how I hide from people and prefer to drive those that are not likeminded away from me.

as a mage of time, i like the idea of a land of fractals and metronomes-- one thing you left out is that time players actually often do have a component of clocks in their land title, dave has clockwork, aradia has quartz (like in a quartz clock)

I would like the Land Of Mindlessness And Weave. (LOMAW) It would be paradoxical in shape, and I’d have to master my aspect to ‘unweave’ the planet and reach my denizen, returning it to a standard sphere shape in the process. My consorts would be serpents due to their similarity in shape to threads, and their tendency to instill ‘mindless fear’ on those who fear them. It would force me to swallow a fear of mine in order to have assistance.

Being a beta player and the knight of space, I would most likely reside in the land of xenon and frogs. Xenon, being a plasma, representative of my love for physical science and chemistry, while frogs being representative of my aspect of space!

I am a Page of Mind, and My land would be know as LoMaI, or Land of Moonlight and Insight. It relatively empty making it a bit safer than other lands, and what few consorts there would be, would all be in hiding or hibernating. The land would be primarily made of crystalline oceans, And mostly be covered by plains of wavy dark green grass with snarling black treed forests with dark green leaves matching the grass. It would seemingly be cloaked in a sorta Moonlight across the entire surface. Seemingly ancient ruins (kinda like the deadric ruins in Morrowind) would also dot the landscape, which would contain lore about my lands history, and information on the game. While mostly empty, a threat would still be looming over my land and I would have to stop it one way or another.

As a Rogue of Rage, I always thought that I’d have a Land of Storms and Tricks/Traps. Can’t decide between tricks or traps there. Consorts could be painted turtles, mainly because I like them. But then with no information of a denizen a rage player would have, I’d always stop there. Would one just pick a different one, or make up their own? Not sure.

I am perfectly ok with being totally cringy in my science class. Like another person might ask "Hey, do you know xenon?" "Oh, DO I? OuO" "Um" _"I ship it with krypton"_ "Ok I'll find someone else"

i like to think that whatever my land would be called, it would include some kind of challenge to make me be more assertive. like... i always end up with active roles, being a derse dreamer and a witch class, but i dont feel like i really am that "active". land of.... mazes and fans maybe?? idk :3 this stuff is so fun to think about!!

Cool video! I actually could pass as either a Maid of Rage or a Maid of Blood. For Rage, my land would be Land of Hurricanes and Sundews and for Blood my land would be Land of Veins and Crystals.

I am a rogue of mind and since abraxas is the denizen given to Players who'se influence is felt the most in the world of ideas I think Abraxas would be my denizen. That is because I am the sort of friend leader that karkat always wanted to be and kind of became at the end. I use my classpects to redistribute choices and thought patterns across my friend group, managing our course of action and cause in the process. This is further reinforced by the fact, that I have found myself role-playing a witch of blood

wait, jake makes angles, eridans consorts were angles, they're both hope players and i believe that eridan killing angles probably symbolises the fact that he is the prince of hope or "one who destroys/destroys through hope" since it is implied that are supposed to represent the aspect hope with jakes giant hope orb creating them, which is why i believe that all hope players consorts are supposed to be angles

I'm an Heir of Doom. I was thinking my land had to do with prophecies and darkness. I think of prophets like teachers and teachers use books and I love books. Darkness can be shade, which is nice. I decided I have the Land of Books and Shade. Lots of knowledge and puzzle quests. Many comfortable nooks and places to read. Some areas of intense darkness. Conspiracies abound.

Mm, ok I got this. Sense I am a Knight of light think my land would be along the lines of; land of sun and dreams. The dream part I think would be abit of a emotional jab at me cuz, I have big dreams for myself but, I feel like I never make progress towards them. And the sun part would be like idk abit of symbolism. Like that saying "light at the end of the tunnel". I guess my land would look like, really ethereal. The ground would be replaced with clouds and there would be stars everywhere. And well I think the quest for light player quest for me could be like learning to take a leap of faith. Idk. So I guess the sky of my land would be dark cuz the denizen took something that make the sky bright. Something like a huge sun. Not a green one. Maybe pink. And getting the sun back would symbolize me, believing in my self. And the consorts, idk they might be like geckos. As for my denizen. I think it would represent one of the 7 sins, probably envy and sloth. And me beating it. Lethally or non-lethally would symbolize me overcoming those two faults in myself wich would lead me to believing in myself. I wonder if any of this makes sense.

im actually trying to find a land for myself right now,(i am a knight of space) and a knight's land is normally based around their fears,something i fear a LOT is the feeling that im being whatched,by something i do not know the location or identity of,so i tought something like the "land of darkness and frogs".A land where it is really hard to see,however really easy to hear anything close to you.I dont really know much about how the lands work,so what do you guys think? :v

So I've had a crack theory rattling around in my head ever since Collide and I'm wondering if anyone can definitively kill it. Jake is the Lord English of the Midnight Crew intermission. Jake is shown to have asserted dominance over The Felt in Collide and I'm not aware of any information on what happens to them in between that and the Midnight Crew intermission. Slick has no picture of the LE he's looking for.

I currently am making a homestuck comic called homestuck other story about another group of players playing spurb. My land is the land of shade and mist. Because I am the prince of void. In the comic I end up killing my denizin. In the comic I kill it because he was feeding of the planets core. Wich caused suffering to the consorts. By order of the consorts I reached god tier and killed the denizen. Do you think it sounds good so far? I would love to see your opinion! Tbh i forgot Yaldaboath was a denizen in homestuck after getting to frustrated with how the name was pronounced to remember. Honestly I really only remember Yaldaboaths name because of Persona 5 lmao. As for my land I dunno, Im a self proclaimed Rogue of Doom though thinking about our only really developed doom player sollux, his planet was covered in fire so perhaps some form of ruin would be fitting for any doom player? I dunno

After thinking about it for a while, i think my land would be named "The land of ruby and electronics" i am a time player, probably the page of time(but i am unsure about it just yet and perhaps my class might shift around often) the scratch construct within my planet would be called "scratch matrix" and would look like a large screen. As the the consrts and the denizen i got no idea since i know very little about denizens.

I messed up, I named my land The land of Midnight and Goliaths for an oceanic planet with small floating islands on the surface, goliaths for the giant frogs that dwell there. I like the sound of the planet Lomag but with your input, I feel compelled to make it Lomaf idk what to do sos Mage of hope from a Rogue of space :P (Also idk what to do for concorts I was gonna do insects but now I see that is unfitting seeing as they don't match the patterns we have been shown)

A time player would not really be nescassary, but it would be super hard, as the time player 's job is to help the frog breeding, and their planet houses the scratch construct, Having no time player means that 1. You can't initiate the scratch, which means there will be no new incipishere. And no chances of creating a new universe there 2. The space player's job would be WAY harder, or another player would need to take that place.

So for my fantrolls, the space player has a really strong moiraillgence with a troll named aaajjj spaget (I let my brother name him) so I named her land Land of Amphibians and Justice (LOAAJ). Would that count for the frog rule?

Just gonna dump the stuff I came up with for my land here. Classpect: Mage Of Time Land: Land of Waste and Rust Consorts: Axolotls Land Description: LoWaR is a fairly empty world with no seas, forests or major settlements. The ground and skies are varying shades of grey and huge spires of garbage and outdated technology dot the hills (think third-world garbage dumps full of old monitors and car parts with a hint of Wall-E). In the core of the planet lies Hephaestus's Forge complete with magma and liquid iron all over the place. The Scratch Construct is a giant cassette deck with a cassette slotted inside. To initiate the Scratch you would need to first open the deck with great force and then scratch the film of the cassette within the deck with a powerful weapon. The planet itself is made of metals like iron, tin, copper (making up the deeper parts of the crust), steel and zinc (making up the very surface layers of the planet) but the consorts, living in abject poverty, treasure it because it's the only really useful material for building in LoWaR (unless you want a house made of CRT monitors). This leads nicely into the corruption affecting the world, the Rust. The Rust, brought on by Hephaestus, is spreading across LoWaR slowly making the consorts only resources useless. The only way to stop the Rust is to electrogalvanize the zinc and steel within the planet with a great electrical force. This could either be done using legendary equipment or by accepting Hephaestus's Choice. The consorts themselves are fairly simple in nature, trading with one another and building small communities. Most jobs came in mining for metals and metalwork. They specialise in blacksmithing (I mean, what else are you going to do on a planet made exclusively of metal?) and some attempt to dabble in the art of alchemy in an attempt to forward their society. They never excelled in alchemy though due to a lack of actual equipment and instead relying on transmutation. Very little progress in actual SBURB alchemy has been made apart from the odd Iron && Iron ==> Reinforced Iron.
