Such a beautiful video. I am also Ukrainian, but when I was little we moved to Germany but I still spent every summer before corona in the Ukraine visiting my family and friends and the situation right now is really heartbreaking 😢

I am also Ukrainian. One quarter on my mother’s side. The situation has me heartbroken and I feel it for everyone. Thanks for sharing this Markian. Much love. 💙💛
yes the situation is sad but you know what else is sad.. the way ukrainians are treating black people. I hope one day you learn how to treat minorities in your country.
@@lilouidg I’m actually in America. Born and raised. And it’s the Ukrainian government. I wish they were treated black people and all people of color better. It’s not right.
Yes! Im ukrainian, i was born and raised there! I knew you were ukrainian by your name and seeing you wear a вишиванка! Cool to see more popular ukrainian figures in the american media.
I am Ukrainian as well!! It is such a beautiful feeling. My Great Grandma came over here from Ukraine in the 50's. 💙💙💛💛 Take pride in your nationality. I also figured out I am part Jewish! Never would've known that! I love you brother. 💖
My girlfriend is Ukrainian. She went to Spain in mid February, but her mum and little sister were still in Kyiv when shit broke out. They got out into Poland March 9th fortunately, but the place they hid in got bombed and four of her mum's employees got shot three days after they left. They're fortunately all safe now, and the strength all of them shows are fucking legendary. I, myself work as a chef at a hotel who functions exclusively as a "first base" for refugees who just arrived in Norway. Seeing cars with bulletholes, smashed windshields, and "children" written on all sides just drives home how bad it still is. These people left Ukraine like a week ago, MAYBE two at the most. But they're still smiling, laughing, and trying to make the best of everything. They come in groups of a hundred to hundred and fifty every 3 weeks, and the last group wrote me and the other chef a letter signed by almost everyone, thanking for everything. Even got some cool drawings from some of the kids. Ukrainians have to be some of the most lovable people on this earth
I'm always impressed seeing you as a RU-vidr I Have been started watching your your RU-vid video since 2020 till now and I'm obsessed with it your laugh is the most required things you have to do in every single video which I do like it's give me time thinking about how much time you take to vlog and add an entertaining to it l appropriate for everything you do. Thank 😊 What ever are you we love you
Thank you very much 🙏🏼 I tried to find a balance with this video of keeping it light-hearted while still getting the message across. I hope it fit my new style of content
@@markianb When the full-scale war in Ukraine broke out, it became fashionable to be a Ukrainian, before the war ... a shame??? By the way, we need a lot of soldiers, so a patriot like you will surely want to join the army to defend his family! Much love ❤️
1:44 I can relate to you I never acknowledge my Ethiopian side in 2021 I finally start embracing it and I always knew my whole life my mom would say I’m Ethiopian I get emotional as well
That will never happen because they do not want to get rid of their Nazis and they want to continue to threaten Russia’s security by building nuclear silo on the border of Russia and want join NATO to continue to surround Russia Slava Russia
I felt the same way about being Ukrainian because i live in Arizona and my dad is Ukrainian and he is so proud of it and it wasn’t until I turned nine and got more into my culture I started to learn the language and I spoke it a lot and then i went to a Ukrainian orthodox faith summer camp and then something inside clicked I knew I was Ukrainian I knew my identity and I loved the dancing food and just learning my true identity and it’s the same with me in Arizona with never really meeting another Ukrainian other then close family friends but now I just love learning about my culture and I take every chance I get to just learn more about culture and my true identity
We love you Markian, just the way you are! You are perfect! Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise… ♥️♥️♥️♥️ Wish you guys peace and love in these hard times… Remember that everything is temporary, you may see light at the end of the tunnel…
My cousins are Ukrainians. But my uncle (their father , my mom’s brother) is Sri Lankan. So they are half Ukrainian and half Sri Lankan. I hope they are safe!
Ever since the war started, for 2 weeks I've been waking up and the thought of "How is Ukraine now?" would be the first thing that pops in my head. I've never been to Ukraine or know anybody from there, it just worries me that a war, just like that started and people just like us going to school, offices, watching yt vids would all of a sudden be in another country with no where to go and soldiers trying to invade their home land. That's just hard to believe. Before all this the only thing I'd know about Ukraine is their flag, now after watching the news and seeing how brave soldiers and even civilians are defending their country, I've found new appreciation for them. I hope and pray that things would get better, may they find rest and comfort where ever God has lead them to be. I also hope the Russians those who also want peace in Ukraine and have been bravely going into the streets and getting arrested, find safety and strength in such a difficult time.
We Indians love Ukraine. Praying for the peace and prosperity of Ukraine... Ukraine you're in are prayers.. Just Hoping that The war stops.... it's too disheartening to hear about the war and it's destruction taking place in one of the beautiful country.. More strength to the people and the whole country ( Ukraine). 🇮🇳❤️ 🇺🇦
I'm praying for all of Ukraine 🇺🇦 during these hard times for them this is a horrible situation and I hope you and your family and everyone else are okay I stand for Ukraine.💙💛🇺🇦
I suspected that you are Ukrainian)) mostly bcz of your sister's name Kalina)) and I really proud that you are ours💙💛💙💛💙💛 I expect to see you in Ukraine after our victory in this bloody war. Come to Lviv, Ternopil, Kyiv, Kharkiv, other cities))
I truly love this channel and the other channels that you have simply because it’s so diverse and open minded of all cultures and ethnicities and communities and I feel like right now it’s something that we need in our society. Watching this put a smile to my face and knowing that you’re making other’s day amidst what’s happening in Ukraine right now is truly heart warming, and I hope that some people have that same feeling after watching this too. I’m not Ukrainian, and I don’t know what it’s like to be a Ukrainian right now but I stand with you!🇺🇦💙💛
Thank you Martian for making this video I learnt so much more about Ukrainian and about the war and how it is effecting real people’s lives. I pray for Ukrainian and I hope you learn more about your culture soon. Sending love and hope to Ukrainian 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦♥️♥️♥️
Second-generation Canadian/Ukrainian here, Ukrainian culture never dies. Even if you weren’t brought up with traditions and cultures, you are forever Ukrainian. Слава Україні! 🇺🇦 💪🏻
Great video!💙💛 thank you for your support 🇺🇦 I wish you to find out more about your Ukrainian part. I’ve been watching all smile squad’s and your videos and I love them, btw I’ve never realized that your name is really Ukrainian)
I have learned that through my Scottish Ancestry, I may also be related to Viking Warriors and Settlers, and this is through my Father's side, which includes Irish and English, too. We should all be proud of Heritage.
Hermoso video, la situación te conecto con tus antepasados ucranianos, no debemos olvidar nuestras raíces. Y más tu que eres un multicultural kid jajajaja. No a la guerra 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
Thank you for this video! I am so sad because of what’s happening now. I love Ukraine although I habe never been there. But i got to know some awesome people from Ukraine and I learned about their pride, about their wonderful culture, their fantastic food and music. And now I am worrying all the time about them, I cry because of this grave injustice and I pray for Ukraine! Слава Україні!
its amazing to be proud of your culture and who you are. when not believing ur heritage is fine! discovering who you are is a beautiful thing and you should never forget that. stay strong!
I'm half 🇺🇦 on my Dad's side half 🇨🇴 on my Mom's, both came to to US as children. Seeing you embracing your Ukrainian side is lovely ❤️ Love Smile Squad videos and how you guys try to bring joy. Slavic

No hate, but I kinda find it sad that a country needs to be in the focus, so you can start identifying with it 😅 I hope you will keep that pride even after the war. Because you should be aware of it in the bad AND the good times imo!
Hi Heather Dunne 😊... I just want increase my speaking skills especially in your mother tongue language. Can you talk daily atleast 10 minutes. If it is possible though social media.
