Speaking of getting fired for driving off road my old bus driver (probably drunk at the time) I live on a floodplain and he drove through a field to get to school
My bus driver... he drove like that every day. The route was 40 minutes of dirt and gravel roads. Pretty bad in the winter. Snow and ice 3 months a year. I had the same driver from 2nd-12th grades.
My school bus driver would purposely drive over this huge potholes and would send everyone flying 2 or 3 seats over. Hell of a bus driver saved our lives one year by avoiding an incoming 18 wheeler.
Just saw a clip of you on The Smiths.4/27/2021 That video lead me here. I retired from being a school bus driver and what you did was soooooo exciting. Thanks for a wonderful memory. I drove a 1979 Pusher Flat Nose. I always wished it would have gone faster then 45 mph. You have made a old women very happy today. Marie (61yrs old) from Eden, NC
As a school bus enthusiast, I have been waiting on you to get a school bus for quite a while. That is a very beautiful Blue Bird All-American RE that you have there, you got one of the best ones you could get. Plus it has the rare roof storage racks, which is a very neat added bonus!
I love that I've been watching you from the beginning and have been able to see your incredible journey. I'd love to meet you someday, you're so humble yet so fun to watch. Keep up the amazing work my brotha! I'll see you at the finish line.
Westen needs to check out the "Tundra-Buggies" they have up in Churchill, Manitoba, Canada. for inspiration on putting on a lift & tractor tires. Plenty of videos on YT...used mostly for polar bear tours.
That's a good way to treat your school bus with respect! People say they boring but giving this thing an opportunity to prove itself probably made it's day. I would love to see you put a hellcat motor in one of them 4x4 school buses and let it rip!
Love yah Westen! You're so nonchalant about everything and just lives life to the fullest. I don't think anything actually bothers you my dude. You are definitely living your best life!
When turning, wait for the edge of the sidewalk to be in line with your shoulder before starting the turn. That's my one piece of advice. I'm incredibly jealous and hope you enjoy!
This is epic! Granger has quickly become one of my favourite artists recently, I’m loving his vlogs and you guys just always make me smile, the two of you combined is just sweet
You know, I have thought about this before whenever my bus driver went over the curb. Thank you so much for verifying the school bus as a god tier all-terrain Camper/Mobile home.
So we had this school bus driver who was like Otto from the Simpsons. He was around 70, and we have the old Chevy stick shift buses. On the last day of school, we would all pile up in the back and he would pop the clutch making the bus do a wheelie. I also remember going over speed bumps really fast and being thrown up and getting air, just like your Raptor Edit: You can also put an air horn up there and power it with the wiring
Actually you can get school busses for pretty cheap. Schools can not use them after so much time and there isnt much of a second hand market that needs them, so there is an oversupply of them normally. Its not uncommon to get one for $1500-3500 depending on mileage and condition. You can turn it into a RV and have the DMV change the license requirements.
If I’ve got this right most newer school busses already have a Cummins installed. I live not too far off from the International school bus plant and those things are nice.
Yes this is very legendary and Weston has to too feel so damn good to have granger smith come hang out with a young lad lucky bastard even went out in #GrangerSmith bus im a little jealous lol cant lie
