do swedish jacuzzi, dry age a meat for atleast 30 days, then cover in beef tallow and let age for atleast 20 more days. the longer the better. btw, like month 11 of requesting this

Walmart sells American wagyu burgers for 3 for $5. They are a third pound each. Head to Aldi and get some Gouda cheese, burger buns, and a cob of corn. Wagyu dinner for under $10. (Try the Gouda on a burger. It is good, even if you don't think you'll like it). (I dunno if the Walmart stuff is good, but I have a local high end grocer that carries wagyu burgers in the case for about $4 per burger. Expensive, yeah, but they taste ridiculous. They also have ribeye and ny American wagyu as well.) You want American or Japanese wagyu. The Australian stuff is grass finished. If you are American or Japanese, it might have a funny taste to the beef. The Australians and the Europeans like their meat grassy and a bit gamey. That isnt how wagyu should taste.

Hi Guga, I am a huge fan of your channel and I have watched most of your videos. You are an amazing chef and a true food artist, and your videos are incredibly well made and entertaining to watch as well. I really appreciate the effort you put in to create such great RU-vid content. Guga, I want to pose you a challenge. Everyone knows that Guga can cook a steak like nobody’s business. In fact, when it comes to chicken, pork, fish, or any other kind of meat, we know that Guga can cook it, and make it taste amazing. But that is only part of the picture of being a great chef. The real sign of a great chef is that you can make any food taste amazing, even when cooking outside of your comfort zone. So, Guga, here is my challenge. I challenge you to create 30-days of videos with *all plant based* cooking. Show us your creativity, your culinary genius, and your out of the box thinking when you don’t have animal products to use as your foundation. Show us that Guga does not get lost outside of the animal kingdom. Show us all the amazing dishes that Guga can make using just vegetables, grains, and mock meats. I’m not telling you to go vegan forever. I’m challenging you to create a month’s worth of incredible, mouth-watering, out of this world plant-based videos. Your viewers will be amazed. Your reputation will soar. Based on what I have seen you do, I know you can do it. Come on Guga, take my challenge!

do swedish jacuzzi, dry age a meat for atleast 30 days, then cover in beef tallow and let age for atleast 20 more days. the longer the better. btw, like month 11 of requesting this

It’s not the bacteria causing it to smell rancid, but the actual fat itself. See what happens is the fat contains butyric acid triglycerides and when it’s cooked that long, the butyric acid is separated via hydrolysis. However anaerobic fermentation can also produce these butanoate salts.

An even easier way to render tallow I’ve found is to use the oven. Set a low heat and basically you have no chance of burning it and it’s basically hands free 😁 takes a long time but you don’t need to be constantly watching it and making sure it doesn’t burn.

@@skinnybuddha8988 It's actually easy to get here in Sydney Australia. Prices here are a lot cheaper than the USA. I recently bought a Wagyu MB9 Picanha for AU$40 per kilo or $27USD per kilo thats about 2 pounds. I have it at least once a month. You all should try Wagyu!

Guga I am a vegetarian but I gotta say I can't stop watching your videos, I have for a while now. Not so much for the meat because I won't convert, but your videos are always well done and entertaining. I also love your spirit of experimenting to do things outside of the box. One thing I've noticed a lot lately on cooking channels is the use of watermelon as a replacement for various meats. I'd love to see you do an experiment on that!

@@mahmutyilmaz8575 the reason he says it's fake wagyu, is because it's not japaneese wagyu. Wagyu literally means "japanese milk cow" it's a certain type of breed. This type of wagyu is most likely black angus mixed with the japanese breed(wagyu). If not, it might be australian.

Hey Guga! I have an odd suggestion but should be good if executed well! Beef Spleen!! It is amazing stuffed with lamb fat, herbs, cow liver..This is usually cooked on the grill for mere minutes inside aluminium foil. Dont knock it till you try it and would LOVE if you would have your review on it and what you think!
