I Had To Get Urgent Lung Surgery || Cancer Journey 

Romee, I live in America and I watch all your videos as they come out. I have had cancer twice. I understand the anxiety, the hair loss, the long journey, the frustrations, the bills, the lack of communication, not feeling well....I get it. Just know that your videos touch people's hearts, that strangers pray for you and await your next videos to hear that positive changes are happening for you. Wishing you health and happiness and a life free of EVERYTHING cancer related.

I see you a couple years from now at a massive global medical assembly sharing your story and changing the way patients in the world are treated.

Can you imagine Romee: I live in France and many times when I walk, or when I go running, or when I take a break from work, or when I make music, I think of you. A random person, we have never met, but I feel close. I had severe illness in the past, long weeks in hospital, but no cancer. It touches my heart when you suffer, when you smile, when you talk. You are going through this and there's happy lightweight life on the other end of this process with no fear and pain ever again.

Every scar has an awesome story. I have 42 inches of scar from one side of my chest to the other so under one armpit to the other side. It’s either a story to tell or a road map in my case. I wish you a positive outcome but in case it’s not the news you wanted, I am, we are, here for you.

Romee, I am so sorry to hear about your new situation and as a nurse, who is also a cancer survivor and dealt with all kinds of problems while I was a patient here in Michigan, I feel your pain. From misdiagnosis to incompetent medical staff and miscommunication I also dealt with these issues. It is so important to share your thoughts and feelings, because you are helping patients and medical staff understand what cancer patients are going through. I have a little ribbon on my backpack that I play with when I get anxious. I put it on to remind me to keep my friends in mind that I made in hospital that I don’t know where they are and now they are today. And of course the friends that didn’t survive their cancer. When I’m on the bus I play with the ribbon to be less anxious and I think about all the people out there going through treatment or in recovery. Lately I’ve been thinking about you a lot when I do it. You’re such a great person, I really pray for the best for you.

My biggest love is having surgery on Monday, to remove several tumours. Just knowing it’s cancer but not yet what kind. When I’m struggling with all the feels I think about you. Your spirit. Your ability to LIVE with the sickness and not “by it”, if that makes sense. And it makes me feel so much more positive and hopeful. So much. I really don't have any words, the amount of strength and your positive attitude is incredible and I know its helping so many others going thru health issues. Hello Romee, Just started to follow your video's a few days ago. Just want to say you are a strong and brave young woman. Stay strong and positive and never give up. I did lost my wife almost two years ago, she did battle cancer for about six years. But her strength and positivity brought her further than people expected. I hope and pray for you that you will get better and live a normal life and that you can leave the hospital visits and all those examinations behind you. I know here in the Netherlands there are good hospitals and good doctors. We always went to Maastricht. Have faith and know one thing you are stronger then the cancer. sometimes I don't go to youtube much, sometimes I'm overloaded with my problems, but always remember you and then I come here to know how you're doing, and pray for you when you're hopeless or I get super happy because you're getting there and have a chance to travel or to live!... just hope you are really cancer and health problems free!
