Amy being able to draw really reminds me of that fan animation of Amy being the one who animated the Sonic mania plus commercials.

I love this art style...it really puts me back into the classic sonic time period!✨

Thanks for not taking any cheap shots at Amy, Megabeatman. I've seen many people who will hate on the character, even when she has good protrayals. Did you catch the Easter Egg with Amy's desk light? It's a Hotaru, one of the Badniks from Sonic CD. I like to think that she repurposed one and it's content with its new life as a lamp. Speaking of sentient beings, is the Breeze car alive? Whenever you see it, the headlights are focused on someone. Also, Amy drawing comics reminds me of that fan-made commercial of Sonic Mania Plus. The one where Amy is seen drawing in front of a desk.

I really like how IDW is giving Amy more depth and interests. Also, Honey the Cat. Automatic A+ for the comic.

Here's another Easter Egg: on the cover of that issue, the Amy's comic note paper stuck to Sonic's left hand are lyrics to Sonic SatAM's opening theme which reads in obscure writing, "Blue streak speeds by, Too fast for the naked eye." Also, it's canon that Amy can cook, write and draw. Boom Amy from Sonic Boom was shown to be a writer, artist and chef also and the same for Modern Amy as there are official Sonic Team artwork of Modern Amy cooking and baking and Sonic X, the true and original Japanese version, showed Amy cooking and making meals. I deeply appreciate how Gale Galligan treated Amy in this story and how she portrayed Sonic loving and appreciating Amy's work, a glaring stark contrast to Ian Flynn and writers before him who frequently write Sonic as either an obnoxious ass and a jerk to Amy or he ditches her for his bromance with Tails and Knuckles. Gale Galligan is among the few writers along with Evan Stanley and Tyson Hesse who writes Amy not only in canon character, but also give her character the deserved respect and admiration that Ian Flynn doesn't give to her and to her dynamics with Sonic as he prefers to either keep Sonic and Amy far apart and not give fans any endearing Sonamy moments to enjoy. Then again, I don't trust Ian Flynn to do justice to Amy's character as he wrote Modern Amy in IDW Sonic as a Sally copy-paste, which he got called out for by many fans during his time as head writer Fans started seeing Modern Amy from the games again when Evan Stanley took over as head writer of IDW Sonic.

I think Amy having a new hobby of drawing comics that then goes to keeping track of Sonic and the gangs adventures is adorable and goes to show how others would know about them should they ever get in on the fun. That aside, I get the feeling these new Mobian like androids are going to be tricky to face. Especially since one of them looks like was made from Tails hair sample that Starline got earlier and had at least got Belles blueprint from being interested in her craftsmanship.

I like Amy drawing comics I love drawing comics in school and it got me into art and storytelling Also I'm surprised to see Bean, Bark and Honey here I haven't seen them since the archie comics
