For this year's Free Comic Book Day special, Knuckles asks Sonic & Tails for help in dealing with Marble Garden's odd quakes. Three guesses as to who's responsible, & the first two don't count. #IDWSonic #IDWpublishing #freecomicbookday
Knuckles does value his friendship with Sonic and Tails. He just wants to live in peace. And he hates it when people bring their problems to his home. I'm glad IDW is treating Knuckles with respect. I also appreciate that we got this resolution of him knowing that Sonic was okay after the events of the Metal Virus. #Hydro City
I would love this, especially if he admits he can't do it alone and invites the Chaotix to join, reintroduce Mighty and Ray to IDW continuity, and maybe have Rouge backtracking behind them when she catches wind of it.
It’s disappointing that the story couldn’t be a bit longer and give us more action moments for Knuckles and Tails. But, we just got them in a movie so I can’t complain too much.
I like how they pretty much intentionally switched Sonic and Knuckles usual roles of late in this story. Knuckles is the hero, while Sonic's the butt monkey.
1:34 Hey! Back off Knucklehead! Even if Sonic didn't make it to Angel Island, the Virus itself would've via infected Flickies or other flyers like Charmy, Jewel, or the Chao
Lest you forget that it was Sonic who released Metal Sonic into the world after having Tails repair and reactivate him, allowing Eggman to resurface from Mr. Tinker when he laid a hand on Metal Sonic. Albeit, no one bet Metal Sonic knows the whole thing; but Knuckles is even more correct than he thinks.
I don't think the IDW Sonic FCBD issue will show up in canadien french, that is why i want to make an official Sonic comic for Quebec but i will make stories that takes place in the main continuity and in another di==mension where Sonic Xtreme happens.
Yeah, to certain people. Screw it; it's "Hydrocity"! That's how it's spelled. Besides, between Sonic and Tails, who's the dumbbell? If Sega intended it to be the other way, then it's their own fault for spelling it wrong.
If you are a regular customer at your local comic shop, or just know the people who work there, you could always ask theme to save you a fcbd issue or two (so long as you specify). Also, sometimes they have some issues left over, so you can probably scoop them up from a day to a month latter, (unless it was for a particularly popular series, in which case you'll probably be out of luck). That said, if it's just reading the comic (not owning a physical copy) that you're looking into, people usually post scans of them online.
NOTE: As about obtaining the issue, Idk about everybody but I know for a fact that my local comic store last year they were able to order extra stock of FCBD books for me when I asked a month after FCBD, and I was able to get some books still
