this music is for Ikaruga Final Stage The Stone Like an original full play ost by artiest hiroshi luchi ^_^ all respective works goes to treasure and Ikaruga team December 20th 2001 all rights reserved (C) ^_^
"Thus achieve your mission without any regrets." "I will not die until I achieve something. Although the Ideal is high, I never give in. Therefore I never die with regret."
thats suppose to be the stone like speaking? is mission is explained in radiant silvergun, a loop of life until humanity undertand his mission on life.
Fun fact, according to Wikipedia (and cross-checking with vgmdb), while Hiroshi Iuchi has worked on the graphics for plenty of other games, he has only composed music for two games: Light Crusaders, where he contributed only two songs, and Ikaruga, where he did the whole soundtrack. I DON'T KNOW IF I SHOULD BE REALLY IMPRESSED THAT HE CAN COMPOSE SOMETHING SO GOOD WITH SO LITTLE EXPERIENCE OR SUPER DEPRESSED THAT HE HASN'T COMPOSED FOR MORE GAMES
_"Release the restrain device. Using the released power may result in the possibility of destruction of the ship."_ _"You did your best. Was I helpful for you? I am deeply grateful to you."_
"I make you alive so that you can walk along the right way. But Can't you understand it? You can't feel the visible things. How can you feel the invisible things? It is impossible to cut off this metempsychosis forever. You can also see it, can't you?"
@@karnagefails333 Radiant Silvergun was ment to be a trilogy. Sadly I don't think it will ever be anything more than a concept as Treasure is a shell of its former self and hasn't made anything since 2014...
@@weakestmax0rfanenthusiast481 Chain max is from killing same polarity enemies successively. Energy Max is much more appropriate give that you can't shoot and can only absorb all that energy...
Huh that's weird mine was like :Boom boom boom boom boom Continue? Boom boom boom boom boom Continue? (I was in free play max ships cause this game hard as heck lol good game nonetheless)
I can hear it: This song is a clash of two beings. One damn near metaphysical to the other being of indomitable ambition. I mean by the time reaches it climax, Ideal is already playing but at the same time, godly tones that backed up the Stone Like in Radiant Silvergun is trying to come out itself.
It's impossible for me to listen to this without shedding a tear at the very least. This song is the absolute embodiement of Ikaruga's main philosophy for me.
Also, although Shinra's appearance might look like something you see in a nightmare, His actions and personality are a dream come true. Too bad he had to sacrifice himself....
Other than mother 3 and shadow of the collusus, ikaruga is the only game that actually legitimately made me cry. The song is a pure masterpiece, btw.....
1. Metal Gear Solid 1; Sniper Wolf 2. Final Fantasy VII; Aerith’s Death 3. Ikaruga; Self Sacrifice to Destroy the Crystal for the Greater Good Those are the sole three times a game as a masterpiece tore at my heart strings and brought tears to my eye! Epic masterpieces, no other way to put it.
I was wondering why this track reminded me so much of Gunstar Heroes. It's from Treasure. Best track in the game. Ikaruga is such an obscure gem. Hard, satisfying and epic.
This song makes me feel as though I'm really feeling the final confrontation with the boos of a game. And it leaves me with a sense of satisfaction. :3
this music for me feels like the boss is about to show his ugly divine wings in white and black to eliminate your wishes for the far awaited peaceful future ^_^ and ikaruga's destiny was to be killed in this battle to save the world's future ^_^
Recently got ikaruga. Beat arcade mod chapter all with 3 or 4 continues , 5 lives each. Main parts I messed up on was the beginning of chapter 3, the gate part of chapter 3, and bosses 3 and 4.
Release the retrain device? Release of power may result in the possiblity of the destruction of the ship. Was I help to you? I'm deeply...grateful of you.
@Blasted9001 i see X) nope it's ok no need to watch something since it was mentioned to be failure as you said X) at least now i can understand some things about him ^^
I'm kinda sad because I want to learn and understand all the lore about Radiant Silvergun and Ikaruga, and I just can't find the lore explained, pls, someone help me!
In the far future (years 2500's) people discovered an ancient artifact from the prehistoric stratum (along with the debris of a robot similar to the ones they got in the current era), it activates (thus erasing almost all of humanity on Earth except a small group on a spaceship), the remaining squad goes back to Earth because their ressources start depleting but they are attacked by the machines controlled by the artifact in question (it's sentient), small flashback from when the artifact is activating and the alert is going on, the commander asks you to escape as fast as possible, back to present, you escape again from the artifact but end up having one of the crew mate sacrificing himself. You fight the artifact under several form until it sends you millennia into the past, you defeat but the two remaining people, a man and a woman are dead but the robot is making clones thus creating an everlasting cycle that would soon get stopped by Shinra in Ikaruga.
As for Ikaruga the nation of Ourai found the Stone Like and used it as a weapon to conquer other countries. The pilot of the Ikaruga, Shinra, got shot down and ended in the village of Ikaruga where lies the eponymous ship with the unique ability of switching polarities (along with Kagari, Ginkei's pilot, that tried to kill Shinra because she was paid to do but got betrayed by Ourai). Then the two are in a journey of revenge (which is a süicide mission btw).
what does he do with this game ? i heard about him too much ( i didn't thought of it personally the first moment i heard and didn't gave thought about him yet due to low knowledge ) from video gamers which they hates him too much o_o so what's the problem about others hatred to him ?
What interests me is when the boss turns black and the symbol on its back resembles shinobi 忍 so the opposite of shinobi is what ? I think the white symbol represents samurai 侍😂such a great game🤣 so when samurai and shinobi understands each other , they both disappeared and become eternity .🙂🙃
play Gradius V then you'll see the difference ^_^ Gradius V was also made by treasure ... just check any loop 10 runs then it'll make this game like an easy going bullet hell since you can defend yourself with infinity shield but only different colors ... in Gradius V loop 10 runs the bullets are hell more than ikaruga and you have a limited force field for 3 attacks X)
Not comparable sorry one is a classic shmup with upgrades while the other is more like a puzzle with the polarity mechanic that makes you more thinking about switching to the right polarity than simply avoid the opposite color
actually same team is working on new title, they said it will be kind of successor to ikaruga.. this is what i read in one year old news, no traces of update on that game.
if he was an actor , then what does he do with video games ? O_o i guess that some guys who've told this means something i don't get or maybe there is something wrong @_@
@aliultimate009 People consider Chuck Norris to be essentially... the most amazing person on earth. If something is described with Chuck Norris, it usually means it's really really epic.
