For those interested in doing a real time analyze of your bedroom, gaming room, or studio, you can download a free app on the Google Play store called JBL Tools. I run audio for concerts, corporate events, nightclubs, and even birthday parties and this app saves me so much time when I'm in front of the mixer. Just choose the RTA (Real-Time Analysis) setting and remain as quiet as you can and the app will tell you where your peaks are in the room.

Nice Tutorial, Didn't know what i was looking for (Turns out i was looking for compression and gate) thanks loads, been looking for something to temporary fix my mic till i get a better mic(maybe condenser and gate? idk), Skype requires max volume if the other callers have max volume, of course my laptop mic only has a VERY low volume(even completely maxed).

Great video! I noticed you didn't show the modulation or position options in the Intellipan section when you right click on it. There are some fun options in there as well. Thanks for the tutorial! Keep up the great work.

no it's also a FX. the Position panel allows to make audio stereo enhancement (by placing the cursor closed to the central vertical) as well as simulate source position in stereo and give a spatial identity to your source. Giving different position to several sources allows to get better intelligibility when people are talking in the same time...

My partner just started using voicemeeter banana for streaming and I handle the audio for him, thanks so much for the great info! One question- he has a low, deeper voice that seems to get buried amidst his music playlist and game sound. I'm dropping the volume of the game/music audio, but I need to fix his voice settings. For a deep voice, would this mainly be a compression issue, or is it more of an EQ issue, or a combination of both? We set up voicemeeter banana recently, but haven't played around with the compression/EQ/Intelipan settings yet. Still trying to learn how all of this works. Thanks so much!

Hey man im having a issue im getting distortiin no matter the dial settings but if i switch from WDM to MME it sounds better i watched a asin guy he said you want WDM does it really matter

I have everything set up fine through OBS , but my only problem is that on Discord (havent checked skype yet) the sound just sounds very glitchy or maybe robotic like? in the background. It makes my friends mic sound like garbage when its really not. Any fix on improving the sound quality through the Virtual cables?

Do i need a sound card for this to work, cause I can not get this to work right. I use a cheap mic/headset, I can hear my voice through VB buy anything I change through it does nothing, my voice still sounds very bassy and low, along with some static. Also my mic/headset only has one audio cable so I usually plug it into the front mic input on my tower, if I want to talk and listen the the sounds through my speakers..

If you right-click on the Intellipan HUD it cycles through 2 completely different settings as well. I am curious what those do. I love the gate, but is there any setting within Banana alone that can help remove the background noise that comes through when I'm speaking?

Hey there! I have it all set up properly and the Intellipan-EQ works just fine. However, when I try to use the EQ for "B2" and play around with it, you just dont hear any difference. The EQ ist enabled (the EQ-button is blue) for B2 - which is also my output for my mic. Could you tell what the reason for this may be? I saw you set B2 to "Stereo repeat" and I just have it on "normal"... not really a problem, is it?P.S. : Should I be able to hear the EQ effect "life" when listening to my microphone via selecting "A1" or is it only audible when listening to the recorded file afterwards?

Thanks a lot for your answer! I just fucked up the settings really badly ( first one set to extremely low, the second one to extremely high and so on) to hear an audible difference. - Just nothing. I also tried starting voice meter banana as an administrator. Didn't work as well.

Can anyone point me in the direction of how to set up the eq? For removing white noise from the pc specifically? Or just what each EQ nob does? Theres so many.

Hi Pun, if I make these changes in voicemeeter on the gaming PC and then send the Mic over to the streaming PC with VBAN will the filters carry over? If it does carry over the filters would you still set some in streamlabs obs or just leave the mic with no filters in steamlabs on the streaming PC. My thinking here is that if it carries over VBAN then I wouldn't have to set anything on the streaming PC as far as filters go on the mic.

I have a question about the program. Whenever I select my headphones for the Hardware output I can hear my voice in the program, but no other system noises. If I select virtual cable for the output, I cannot hear the program, but I can hear system settings. Can you help me so I can hear both

@frugalstreamer i have my voicemeeter set up fine but one problem im having is when i monitor my audio through my headset i click a1 on my mic and i can hear my intellipan working but when i shut the monitoring off and i go to the voicemeeter taperecorder and press what im streaming out a1 and b1 and record a bit the intellipan dosent seem to b working it sounds flat ?? im pullin my hair out rn lol i wanan stream and this is the only thing holdng me back

In Voicemeeter, there is a section for Hardware Out on the top right of the program. Make sure that A1 is set to your Speakers/Headset and make sure that all of the outputs have A1 selected except for your microphone.

It is tough to do. It may be the vibration of the fan. See if you can put your PS4 on a different surface and see if that improves it.

use obs studio to record and than there take out the noise i did it and it worked u need to put filters check in youtube u will find it even on the website

my first suggestion would be turn the volume down on your microphone input to 0db, its red for a reason and that reason isnt good

Great video but your mic sucks too much and the audio is way too quiet. There are great microphone solutions from cheap $4 lapel mics from Aliexpress to the studio grade BM800 for less than $30.
