Thanks for the sane-talk about the idiotic self-censorship we're seeing in response to the right's predictable projection tactics and intimidation of the left. I appreciate the many spot-on critiques of the crazy things that are happening now. It takes a little edge off the pain.

I'm not jewish and I'm not an expert on jewish religious rules, but I feel like it would genuinely be insane if that was something that wouldn't be seen as massively disrespectful.
on the topic of pulling people over, I've been watching on and off since like fall of 2019 and you definitely presented certain arguments that made me more interested in being open to more leftist perspectives on things but I really don't know whether it was from debates or not, I think a fair amount of your non-debate content also made me reconsider things just as much if not more than the debates, my memory of debates frankly is more just a supercut of people getting owned, though I do think there were a couple relatively good faith debates you've had that definitely helped to flesh out certain perspectives.
I think that if people watch a fun debate where someone gets dunked on, they might think "this guy is cool", and watch a Vaush video where the actual arguments are delivered.
