Isiah has great basketball takes but he’s bias against Jordan. Isiah is from Chicago and was arguably the most popular athlete there until Jordan arrived. Jordan’s ascent to stardom was lightning quick and some older players like Isiah didn’t likeJordan getting so much shine so quickly. Jordan was frozen out during the 1985 all star game. Jordan instantly became Chicago’s biggest star and usurped Isiah as the most popular athlete in Chicago. Isiah was getting outshined in his hometown. The Pistons were on a quest to three peat but Jordan ended their run in the most embarrassing way by sweeping them. Jordan symbolizes the end of the Pistons so Laimbeer and Isiah detest him for that. Jordan also had a big say in making sure Isiah doesn’t make the 1992 Dream Team. Isiah mentioned beating Jordan in 1988 but Pippen and Grant were rookies that year. Once Pippen and Grant matured, the Bulls became a major force.

@@aceshabazz1937 This is a subjective topic you clown. Objective points can be made but everyone has subjective criteria and weighting when deciding the GOAT.
I grew up routing against MJ because he beat my Lakers in the 1991 Finals, but MJ is clearly the GOAT. Isiah's argument assumes that volume of stats is a greater attribute than quality of stats. The quality of MJ's career is highest level ever achieved. There's also some important reasons why MJ's stats are not as prolific as Kareem and LeBron. For one, MJ played three years in college before coming to the NBA (Kareem also played college, but LeBron jumped to NBA after High School). Second, MJ basically missed his entire second season (60+ games) due to injury. Then he took about 2+ seasons off in the middle of his prime to go play baseball. Somehow he still three-peated twice, won six NBA Finals MVPs and 5 regular season MVPs. CAN YOU IMAGINE how many championships in a row his Bulls teams would have won if he did not go play baseball . . . how many more points he would have scored, how many more awards/honors/MVPs he would have gotten etc????? LeBron in this league 20 years, cherry-picking the best talent and moving to different franchises when it suits him and he's still stuck on 4 championships/4 Finals MVPs and 4 regular season MVPs. Plus, Jordan never lost in the Finals, or even taken to game 7 in the Finals. LeBron got a sub 500 record in Finals, having been swept TWICE and gentlemen's swept TWICE. There's levels to this folks . . . . don't believe the slander.
Very well said! All roads of stats must lead to Winning 🏆. Having all the top stats and it not equate to Championships is all for nothing. This argument is like saying the Buffalo Bills are the greatest football team of all time because they went to the Super Bowl 4 times and lost. 🤷🏾♂️
Facts are fact regardless of bias on either side of this argument. Jordan holds NO title in any statistical category. Championships are a TEAM achievement. Only reason the became a measuring tool is because they saw Kobe and Lebrin coming.
Lebron already has 4 seasons over MJ and came out of highschool and still has less championships than him, while mj even left and came back, that’s how you know Lebron won’t ever be the goat Edit: just stat checked that MJ is 5th all time points with 10,552 minutes less played than Lebron While being behind around 4,000 points, yes Lebron has more points but again he’s played much longer than Jordan
Jordan never played anyone as good as any of those Warriors teams or Spurs teams in the finals. Give LeBron the same opponents Jordan had in the Finals and the ring count would certainly be different. And Jordan had the best coach of all time and a great team always. The Bulls had the same regular season record and almost made it back to the Finals the year Jordan went to play baseball
Barry Sanders had a lot runs for loses trying to make big plays. Then he breaks one when the game is over. Emmitt was always made positive yards and was a great reciever..Sanders was just more exciting
Walter Payton was the best, he probably would have ended up with 20000 yards if he didn’t play his first 3 seasons in 14 games, have lock out seasons, and his coach his rookie year not making him second string because he was a rookie.
He’s hating on MJ is clearly salty on being left out of 92’ dream team . Sad seeing him being like this . When MJ has him as the 2nd greatest PG in history regardless of how he feels about him he acknowledges Zekes greatness .

It's sad🥲🥲 He should still be critical of Larry Bird for stealing his inbound pass in the playoffs or Karl Malone for busting his face open with an elbow 🤣🤣🤣
I think it's because when people talk great teams, no one considers Jordan did get beat in the playoffs, and they're one of the teams that beat him. Not making it to the finals shouldn't add to someone's greatness, but with Jordan it does.
He speaks as though no one knows his grudge against Jordan. No shame…smh. In some ways I understand why he is in his feelings…because he will never truly get the recognition he deserves as the great player he was until Jordan truly validates his career. Jordan has said he was the 2nd best pt guard behind Magic. But as long Jordan shuns him, public opinion of Zeke will remain on his side. It will be good when the day comes that both of them can put bad blood behind and truly recognize each other fully.

Lebron, Kareem, Malone and Kobe all scored 4,000 to 6,000 points less in 1,072 games. MJ has the highest PPG in the regular season, playoff run and finals. He also has the best win percentage which is 100% and never went to a game 7. He is considered as one of the if not the best scorer of all time and one of the best defenders ever
In the 90's MJ didn't have competition in the east. Ewing was the only Star on the Knicks. After the Knicks who else in the East was championship caliber ? In the Finals MJ had a big 3 vs Portland and Phoenix. A big 4 vs Seattle and Utah. Always had the advantage . He's lucky he didn't play Houston. He would've lost twice.
hahaha.. YOU NEED TO BE WORSE THAN A RELIGIOUS FANATIC TO CONTINUE CLAIMING THAT JORDAN (OR WORSE IF IT'S KOBE) IS THE GOAT.. - LEBRON EXCEEDS HIM IN GOALING EFFECTIVENESS (FOR EVERY 100 SHOTS LEBRON SCORES MORE, BOTH DOUBLES AND TRIPLES) - LEBRON EXCEEDS HIM IN REBOUNDS PER GAME!! - LEBRON EXCEEDS HIM IN ASSISTS PER GAME.!! -LEBRON PLAYS ALL POSITIONS, HE HAS THE STRENGTH AND THE SKILL...Jordan never had the strength for it!! (The only reason Jordan had more points per game was because he made many more attempts, not because he was more effective, that's why he was number 1 in missed shots for many seasons) Come with your only and absurd argument about the titles, and make hara kiri yourselves, because if that is your logic, there are like 10 players who have more titles than Jordan and then you will automatically be removing Jordan from the debate!!
MJ's road to winning championships were harder compared to Lebron. Lebron skipped the line, avoid the obstacles and joined Wade a former champion and Bosh. Lebron went from Cavs to a superteam overnight.
Wouldn’t say that. Jordan the goat but LeBron played against one of the greatest teams ever assembled. The warriors w/ KD. Nobody was beating that team. Swap Jordan to the cavs and they still take that L. LeBron had a lot of garbage teams he dragged to the finals which is why he left in the first place. Jordan didnt win until pippin got there. Can’t forget that.
You do know, Bron played 7-8 years with the Cavs, before going to the Heat? He never would’ve “skipped the line,” if the Cavs would’ve built a team around him, like the Bulls did with Jordan.
Well good point isiah .. in this case you're not the second best point guard ever (beyond Magic) .. statistikely John Stockton, Jason Kidd, Chris Paul, Steve Nash and few others are. Because at the point guard position they all have more assist/point them you. Matter a fact even Magic it's not the Best if you count statistics if we follow your logic.
"The road". Bron skipped 4 years college. That's 4 years of extra scoring in a pos5-Jordan league with no hand checking and easier flagrant fouls because the league thought defense and low scoring of the Jordan era was boring for fans. Jordan got scoring titles going against Bad Boy Pistons. 30.1 pts avg for his career. SWEPT them in 91 when they walked off the floor sour. Before that they beat the bully Knicks. Then finished with the Lakers.
jordan was able to perfect his game under a hall of fame coach in college ... lebron came into the league no college exp to the worst team ever jordan was 1-7 first round exits and name me one team jordan faced like the spurs or GSW with and without KD and if you compare rosters who had the better rosters and coaching
@@robglobal1 How did he stack the deck. Went To LA with no one and joining kyrie and love is not a BIG 3. The Heat formed to beat the Celtics lakers Spurs and oKc. Sounds fair to me
@@dparks2856 if you're not aware how many all stars Lebron has played with and how almost his entire carear he has stacked the deck then I don't think we should be having a convo on this subject. This is very common knowledge it has not been a secret. Best wishes on your studies
Isiah has been hating on Jordan since Jordan's rookie season. He led the "freeze out" of Jordan in the All-Star Game Jordan's rookie season due to pure jealousy, smh. Absolutely ridiculous to be jealous of a rookie as a veteran star.
It wasn't just Isaiah don't put that s*** on him Karl Malone a lot of people didn't like Jordan when he first came out just like Kobe and just like LeBron they hadn't done anything and everybody acting like they're the best thing since sliced bread don't put that s*** on Isaiah a lot of people hated Jordan and like you said the freeze-out consisted of more than one person but all you want to talk about is Isaiah
Scoring record don’t make you the goat that’s iceing on the cake Jordan or wilt are the goats simple in plan I been a Lebron biggest fan I watched him not take over games even if he was out numbered he seemed like he didn’t want it
He looked pathetic against Dallas. Kawhi, KD and Iggy all win Finals MVP on LBJ and they play the same position as him. I seen Lebron look confused at times in Finals. And who can forget Lebron getting upset when he saw Kawhi coming back in the game.
If the only argument left is Jordan went through "tougher" competition..im sorry but that is just blatantly ignorant and wrong. Both individual and team skill level/athleticism are well beyond any other era, plus the league is still plenty physical there's hard fouling in literally every game still. Jordan never had to deal with a 73 win team with 2 players straight outta 2K, and never beat the bad boys, magic, bird, or any of them until they all got older. At the end of the day, Jordan's 6 wins are incredible. The perfect situation and he's the greatest winner in basketball history, just like Brady is in the NFL. But neither of them are the greatest overall player in their sport. That's not a knock, just a fact. Clearly there are better skilled QBs, better football players, etc. Clearly there are better scores, better defenders, and better all around players than Jordan ever was. So what. LeBron is a GOAT for what he's accomplished and so is Jordan, and so is Kareem. Best guard, forward, and center ever. Cry about it.
Lebron isn't even the best of his Era. When MJ was around, there was never a question. MJ isn't in anyone's league because the league wouldn't be what it is without MJ. Lebron is great but far from the goat
When you're stopping games to get a Caucasian woman out of the arena because she's exercising her free speech, you're far from the G.O.A.T on any level. The past 10 years NBA basketball has become the most softest sport in all of sports and LeBron James and Steph Curry has benefited from that tremendously!!!! If you honestly think LeBron James would be the same player back in 1984 is blasphemy, him or Steph Curry would be average players based on the rules back then. So it sickens me personally to watch basketball since the 60's and see these adolescents give glory to these weak azz players of today and dismiss a whole lot of old school talent like they never existed. You youngsters vote on these surveys based on popularity not facts!!! 80% of the people today who watch the NBA has never witnessed Wilt Chamberlain play and his playing skills made the NBA change the rules in the 60's because he was so dominant, but you youngsters don't even consider that. Why you think Jordan has never said he's the best ? Because he knew he had Wilt Chamberlain's stat sheets to contend with and know the history. They recently said Justin Bieber just passed Michael Jackson on Billboards with the most songs on the chart, but we know Justin Bieber is nowhere near Michael Jackson in talent, no different if LeBron James pass Kareem in points, he is far from the G.O.A.T!!!!!!!
If the 80s and 90s were tough then how did Jordan go the playoffs with a losing record then the expansion teams 1-9 before Pippen got better hof coach. Lebron has never played for a Phil Jackson he lead every team in every statically category in the 2016 finals at 22 took a mediocre Cavs team to the finals if it wasn't for marketing Jordan wouldn't be in the Kareem/Lebron discussion
@@funkythangzprod3446 you're very first sentence is about a woman saying his son should die a horrific death so you're an idiot and that's not acceptable free speech when court side. So stfu.
Hahaha! Had MJ played 20yrs and/or didn't stop for about 2 season many scores we'd think we has today? LeBron is been so spoiled playing with bunch of at least 2 more superstars in his team for over 10yrs in this weak/soft, fast-pace era. Come' on Isaiah. Let him win his 5th ring and pass Kobe 1st. MJ > LeBron
@@mikelmoon100 Right that is why championship rings matters. Great players competes to win rings not just putting up individual stats. In anyway they could achieve that...
Point is he couldn't with his bad knees. Also 20 years with Phil and Pippen in an expansion era with no zone or today? He didn't make it from high school also because he wasn't good enough. so quit dreaming.
Kareem Abdul Jabbar is the GOAT in my opinion and I was born in 1991 saying this. His work and impact on the game of basketball is too impactful from college to the pros. He has the accolades as well.
Born in 1981...and people thought I was crazy for saying Kareem is #1 for about 20 years...MJ was incredible...but Kareem is #1. Glad to see other like-minded individuals out there.
Jordan destroyed his competition in coveting the "G.O.A.T" status. His successor has to do the same. I believe someone will overtake Jordan one day, and that player will, with no doubt, be the greatest of all time.
Nobody is overtaken Mike bruh. In eye test, competitiveness, being undefeated in the finals for multiple years, back to back 3 peat’s, etc. No happening bruh! Obviously there will be more great players, but I truly believe we’ve seen the best ever. Kinda like Michael Jackson and the Thriller album. No one will ever sell 70 million worldwide and have the eye test as a performer like either MJ.
@@jaylebron777 Funny thing about your opinion is Mike hasn’t played in nearly 20 years and the media has obviously became younger and younger. Most of the media hasn’t actually witnessed MJ playing actual live games, but he still is recognised by not only older media, younger media, current players, older players, young and old fans. My point is it’s much more than the media that sides with MJ being the best. If you listed to the crowd during ASG intro of Mike clearly the fans still love this guy. Mike is literally at a level of a Babe Ruth and Muhammad Ali. He is beyond iconic and legend at this point. Ruth and Ali are seriously looked at as mythical and that’s where Mike is at. So to say it’s just the media making Mike #1 is a lazy take. No disrespect but you have to admit the majority of society really appreciates the greatest of MJ and what he has done for the game of basketball.
@@jaylebron777 Also at the end of the day the media is just a reflection of our society. I’m short the media is just people…they media is just us at the end of the day.
Mike had trash teams his first 5 years and still won a mvp and managed to serve all those teams he mentioned. He got beat up by Isaiah’s team because they couldn’t stop him so they played dirty. He had 1 all star player against his stacked team and ran them out the gym once his team was healthy. And then dominated a decade of basketball through multiple obstacles in his personal life. Lebron has feasted off a trash East and still lost. He hasn’t done anything in the west besides a win in the bubble that nobody wanted to play in with the exception of a few teams. Losing more than winning actually counts
@@kristopherbrown8276 The best player Lebron beat in that cupcake east was a young paul george while Lebron had a superteam from 2011-2018 in that conference and multiple all star and all nba handpicked players and when he beat those under talented teams he got cooked in the finals with a losing record and blatantly stat padded in multiple finals like the 2014 spurs 2016-18 warriors when he knew he lost, rewatch it and you can clearly see the guy walking to the hoop with warriors okay giving up 2s to lebron because he didnt want to end the game under 50% shooting so he didnt even attempt a 3 to keep his team close this guy cares more about stats then winning because hes a loser thats why he sits in the middle of games with a stat sheet printout lmfaoo what kind of top 5 player does that.
lebron had even trasher team mate than Jordan for 7 years, lost against the SPURS and Boston (at least 3 HOF in both team). MJ dominate in a week era, Lebron face the greatest team ever and The spurs with 4 HOF and popovich
So by that logic, Magic Johnson is not the greatest PG of all time. John Stockton is. Even though he never won a championship, it does not matter, what matters you have lead in statistical categories. I love Isiah, I have him 11th in my all-time ranking. But this is beyond hilarious and stupid.
Bro exactly do Championships not matter?! When did GOAT status come down to stat padding? The G in Goat stands for Greatest/greatness, winning championships is how we measure greatness, all that other stuff is just extra icing on the cake!
@@ATS21198421 well for people like Nick Wright, Shannon Sharpe, Isiah Thomas, Gilbert Arenas it does not. Isiah Thomas acts out of hate and jealousy, Nick Wright and Shannon Sharpe are paid by LeBron to be media plants and Gilbert Arenas, I don't know what that lower-tier star ever done to get a platform to speak.
I agree, but chips are still based on the team. Do we blame MJ for losing game 7 with Pips migraine? No, because he couldn’t do it by himself. It takes a team. I’m no Bron apologist. I just hate the “MJ is 6-0 and LeBron has a finals losing record” narrative. 2011 is the only loss truly on Bron. 2007: inferior team 2014: Wade was over the hill 2015: Kyrie & Love injured 2017 & 2018: nobody was beating that team
@@ThaClancyFam2 well then don't push that narrative that LeBron makes everyone better. And not only that, his wins have been more close than the losses. And in all those serieses, he did not play well. His offensive stats look great because he stats pads and his defensive stats, especially in the 2018 series was horrendous
Stephen A Smith literally has no logical stance as to why Jordan is a better player than Lebron in terms of individual ability so he’s digressed to the “Jordan played better players his road was harder” And that’s a flaming fckn lie 😂😂
Comical isn't it 🤣 I hate this leBron played in a soft era nonsense he has been a professional since 2003 he came into the league during the dead ball era when the pistons were winning rings scoring 78 point per game he's had to face zone defenses , defensive juggernauts like the spurs , pistons and celtics , offensive powerhouses like golden state and he's played them all and beat them all in their respective primes MJ didn't any truly great teams in their prime He didn't beat the prime bird celtics , he didn't beat the showtime lakers he beat the bad boys after losing 3 times before MJ also played in the expansion era and those teams were NOTORIOUSLY bad I would venture to say the 90s was one of the weakest eras in basketball right up there with the 70s much more watered down then the 80s and less parity then we have today Jerry krause surrounded jordan with nothing but the best from coaches to complimentary players remember if MJ had his way it would of been no horace grant , no bill cartwright and no toni kukoc while the best danny ferry could do for leBron in cleveland was old man shaq , old man ben wallace , mo williams and antwan jamison... leBron's entire first 7 years was him uplifting subpar talent and mediocre coaching people wonder why leBron is so controlling when it comes to roster construction because he let someone control his career for 7 years and all it got him was failure every single year MJ was drafted by chicago to be a solid scoring guard ala benard king leBron was drafted to be the savior of a franchise that alone makes his road harder besides all the other stuff I mentioned
