My sons 26 now and I was a sugar nazi, he was allowed Crisps, a sweet and a sugary drink like a capri sun once a week. He got porridge, fruit and a fresh juice for breakfast, hoummas and veggie sticks or a ham salad sandwich for lunch and I cooked every night so no fast food. If he had a can of coke he turned from a well behaved little boy into a hyperactive demon!! I would bet those children wouldn't need half the meds their on. Food is what fuels your body so put good stuff in it. You wouldn't put crap petrol and oil in your car treat your body the same!!! This woman should have cps all over her for what she feeds those children. Their diet is fat, sugar, salt and chemicals.

It’s even worse that her kids have a hard time sleeping and some with autism and ADHD. It’s no wonder they can’t sleep! My daughter has ADHD and cutting out added sugars and dies has changed her behavior so much. It’s like night and day. She still gets added sugar on special occasions, birthdays mainly and it’s instantly noticeable how much it impacts her behavior and sleep.

She wouldn't take them though. She's moved the kids from (at different times) multiple schools and doctors when a professional holds her accountable or even just says some truths. She spoke of this in a couple of separate videos, especially when a doctor commented on the kid's weights.

@kerrydrinkuth3995 it breaks my heart because Alicia clearly knows it's all so wrong, especially when professionals say something, plus her and her husband are both trained in healthy eating etc as you need multiple courses/classes being a teacher and also when fostering, and that's what I can't understand. Even when they have donuts 3 times a week for breakfast or takeout multiple times for example, she has to KNOW it's really bad to be a regular thing? The issue is absolutely with her, there is something that she herself needs support with. It's just an assumption, but I wonder how poor she was growing up and whether she had/has food insecurities or even an ed or was food used as a weapon in her home? Just wondering, of course, with no proof, but I certainly wonder these things. Seeing her stuff the kids with so much junk constantly, there has to be some underlying issue that she ignores or overcompensates for?

I agree. Those two are so sweet. I think this home is still much better than where they came from. But those two kids need more coping skills than her others. I don’t think she is preparing them to survive in the real world. I feel so bad for all of those kids. All they know is a life of excess. I believe they were cared for and taught to be kind at some point... We don't know what exactly happened to their parents or guardians, sometimes there are thing's that are out of people's control... It makes me sad for all the kid's, even her bio kid's.. I believe there is a lot of favoritism, and I feel both Alicia and Josh are there in body... But void in all other ways... My kid's didn't have much, but they had me.. In everyway, and when they did get something special or a really fun outing they really appreciated it... If you ask them today, they would not have changed a thing❤️💙

I had to use food pantry sometimes when my kids were young. They would give you canned food enough for 3 days then you could get as many sweets as you wanted. They would have alot from stores donating there day old stuff. This was back in the 90s. There were days my kids ate donuts and cake for a meal because it filled them up and it was better than nothing.. it's just crazy

I grew up the same way. We also ran out of food alot.We would have to rely on food with no nutritional value to get us through. He has to keep the rest of the shared area clean and in his room, the floor can't be full of sht, but if he wants to leave his 3 half full cups of milk or waters in there while he's gone for the weekend, I shut the door and he can deal W a stinky room when he gets back and he better not even THINK he's going to deposit that stuff in the sink & I'll rinse it and put it in the dishwasher 🙄🤣. He will suddenly lose internet connection bc I'LL disconnect it until he takes care of his crap, lol I get arguing sometimes isn't worth it and it's just EASIER to do it yourself and get it done. I used to be that mom too, but it doesn't help your kid and I learned that the hard way. Now, I'll just cut off internet connection and it may take hours before he notices bc he's doing other stuff, lol, but he gets it done when he realizes. Or he can't go out and meet up W friends. There's always a way to get kids to do the things they need to get done if you aren't a confrontational type, which it seems like she isn't & maybe that's why she just does it herself. But it doesn't help those kids at all.

Yep. Growing our own vegetables and buying fruit from a local farmer mixed in with fun and educational activities was summer vacation.

With the money she wasted she could have bought some land and grown food and taught her kids about home farming and charity farming ...and give any extra food away that they dont use

Right?! We get ones single low sugar, dye free treat a week. If it’s gone in two days, it’s gone for the rest of the week. Kids need fruits and vegetables! My kids are picky but they only eat healthy stuff, if we have cookies, it’s cause we made cookies at home. They may only like a couple foods for breakfast at least it’s plain oatmeal from scratch (not the packages full of sugar) and low sugar yogurt. They can only eat whatever food you provide, would my kids eat pure sugar food? Probably not but maybe? Idk we dont have them here.

I’ll need to look into this! I didn’t even realize it was a thing, thanks. I buy it for when we’re sick/right now because I’m pregnant and will be nursing soon and it’s the easiest way for me to guarantee I get the electrolytes that I know of. I drink one small bottle a day or whenever I feel like I need it. I probably need to find a better way to intake electrolytes😅
