This was a really underrated series, I’ve watched it a good few times, great acting, script, sets, costume, all very well done. It led me to start reading the wars of the roses series by Conn Igulden which is even better

The poor Neville girls. No matter how grand your name is and prestige it carries, you are speaking to The Queen of England and The Duchess of Bedford/Lady Rivers who is Burgundian Royalty by birth. Know you place ladies.

Being Lady of the Rivers meant nothing. Actually, they were commoners, the royal family had no respect for them

Both isabelle and anne are of much higher rank than elizabeth by birth. Elizabeth is only high rank by marriage, but still i feel for her, having to celebrate christmas with the family that just killed her father and brother.

@@ahmedzahir2865 Well to that extent, I would agree, but ancestry-wise, both Isabelle and Anne's pedigree would pale in comparison to that of Elizabeth's mother. Sadly, during these times, rank is inherited via paternal descent.

@@lilovs9952 Jacqueta of Luxembourg was a member of the royal family, being the wife of Prince John, Duke of Bedford. When her first husband was still alive, and prior to Henry VI getting married to Margaret of Anjou, she was the highest ranking woman in court, only followed by Eleonor Cobham, Duchess of Gloucester and Cecily Neville, Duchess of York.. In the court of Henry VI, Jacquetta of Luxembourg, Lady Rivers was still a very important and respected individual in the royal court, being close friends and distant relation to Queen Margaret of Anjou.

Where can I watch the entire show? I was left incapacitated for years by cruel doctors. I’d do anything to watch this series in it’s entirety. Thank you.
