All have their own upsides and downsides but you will never know until you venture out to experience them and all their attributes. So I wanted to know about Nakhon Sawan. I had never been there and wanted to see what it would be like to live there. Come with me and check it out.

@scrm1, the hardest part is being able to 1) remove english tonality from your speech - eg, rising inflection to indicate a question - a big no no; 2) correctly speak/hear the 5 tones; 3) correctly speak/hear short and long vowels; 4) correctly speak/hear those consonants and vowels that don't have an english equivalent. Master these critical skills, and the rest isn't all that hard.

Hi JC in Khon Kaen near the housing developments on the lake they have outdoor fitness centers, when I was there a couple months ago my wife and I made use of them everyday and they were always busy in the early morning and evenings

Excellent video J.C, these are the sort of places I like to visit while in Thailand more than the Islands and the usual spots, well done on another superb video.

@scrm1 I think they say it is the second most difficult. But just be a parrot a mimic the sounds and you can get by.

JC , I can not believe they built a Golf Course on our air base ! This being Takhli Royal Thai Air Force Base...I was stationed there April 1969 to April 1970 , during the Vietnam War.........saw the golf course on one of your Google Maps......just east of the base where a very nice mountain used to be .....

@TheWelcome90 There are so many great cities and lots of space. Except for expats living here or bird watchers there isn't much of a tourist or foreigner draw here. So not to worry.

70 bath is the right price i think. For some place it can even cost up to 100 bath.45 is too cheap tho even for a Thai like me.

Incidentally, so far as I can see none of these open air bits of gym equipment work. Okay, that's an exaggeration - there was quite a clever little pull down machine in Udon Thani where you lifted your bodyweight through a system of cams and levers, and you could do pull ups, but by and large the equipment could never work. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed - basic physics. So if you are churning out power it has to go somewhere. That, after all, is why exercise bikes, elliptical trainers and the like have dirty big flywheels with friction devices attached to them, or magnets spinning in magnetic fields, or fans....Thailand is covered with aerobic exercise devices with no resistance. So there are "elliptical" trainers, but your legs just fly back and forward pointlessly. The only energy loss is the air resistance on your legs. I suppose loon pants from the 1970's would help things a bit, but basically you'd be better off walking.

Im thinking, if you have a motor bike, can you just place it on the street when you dont use it? Will peole try to steal it? Is the risk very small that someone would steal your bike OR other stuff? Are you a easy victim when you live alone? JC, why do you live alone, cause you are a handsome man? (No! im not gay since im asking that way). Do you wanna marry a Thai or do you prefer to marry a woman from U.S. Do you want to go home when you are very old?
