Listening to content guys and reading the chats, I think many don't consider the finances in the decisions by JD and company. For instance,I hear guys questioning the trade backs saying things like "just pick who you want", but I believe where a guy is picked is important financially. I still hear people saying "trade for a big name WR" disregarding the fact that we just don't have the money. Honestly, you seem to be one of the few that actually consider the money situation. I know the trade downs were frustrating, they were for me as well, and maybe moving around didn't work for everything they tried, but I do think JD had a plan with each trade. I also think the Jets carry all 4 backs, 2 speed guys and 2 bulls!
JD is the reason we're in a bad financial situation though- it's his own fault we need to trade down for the money or let go of good players like Huff and JFM.

Someone had a theory that the JFM deal was tied to the ZW deal they just waited until the draft to announce it. In other words, take Zach and half his salary off of our hands and we'll throw in JFM and a 7th for two 6's.
I think they saw Taylor slipping and they knew they were going to take him. That’s part of the reason they traded jfm. I think Taylor can be real good!
