Poor Lee, you can tell he is realizing what he's put his body through. Small changes can make a large difference Lee. Don't pity yourself, be disgusted with yourself and use that to push yourself towards something better
@@joeyjaime3746 if you're happy with the way you are then you'll never change. You become contempt and accept your situation while suffering and slowly drifting into depression. I was there 100+lbs heavier. When you get angry and realistically look at yourself without the illusion you've put up, that's when the first steps towards a better healthier life start. When you take those steps you feel better about yourself, life starts seeming brighter and before you know it you're the person you envisioned physically.
When I was working out 6 days a week I would drink at least 6 diet cokes. That went on for over 2 years and I felt good until I went on a vacation for 2 days without soda. I had headaches and didn't feel like doing anything. I slowly started to quit and I have been away from caffeine completely for 3 months now. Good luck Lee!
My grandma is on her 2nd & last Cancer bout. She did no drugs but her Dew & Cigs= A MUST. NOW...she cut it out and don’t touch it! it’s Uncurable. Both Ways.... But HOPE!!! So Prayers For My Ma and Lee Lying about Juvie Bars! #Ptwaaaa
Gday Joey hope you’re well man?I just wanted to say that I’ve been watching you on the joe Rogan podcast lately & totally enjoyed your down to earth personality & your stories are funny as fck.Anyway man I just subbed n looking forward to your next video.Cheers from Australia man🍺🤤💨💨
I was addicted to Pepsi and Coca-Cola for years, and when I stopped, I threw up and had a two-day hangover. I now have cut a lot of the crap out of my diet, I go to the gym twice a week, and I feel so much better. Joey is right, and he only wants the best for Lee, and it shows.
You can see how much Joey truly cares but man.. when he started talking about his billy goat stomach and when you bring a normal person to your places they shit xyz I lost it 😂
yYu can tell Joey is really comfortable with Lee. The way he looks and smiles at him. I dont think Joey could spend so much time with someone he didnt have love for.
Here is where you can get fast(ish) food that is healthy here in Los Angeles: 1. California Chicken Cafe 2. Sharky's Mexican food 3. Mendocino farms 4. Panera bread 5. Salata
Lee, you should try carbonated water, all stores sell them now days all flavors, it works I replace beer with it. I’m on a Keto diet and it has helped me!
Im a fat man too and i recently got to 320-330 and i needed a change. I was drinking soda all day everyday and eating fast food. I cut out the soda and now i eat fast food maybe 2 days out of the week. Ive lost alot of weight just from that without exercise. I want to start exercising soon but im scared of having a heart attack from clogged arteries. I think what i have to do is just take it slow with the workout and gradually work up. I wish you would talk about this more and try to help us out. I dont have anyone to hold me accountable and food is like heroin for me lo. Ive never done heroin but im from South Florida and the zombies are all over the place.
Think about going keto. I was hospitalized for a week last year with atrial fibulation. Cut out all sugar, processed food and kept carbs under 10 grams a day. I have lost a shit ton of weight. I wish I had started eating this way a long time ago before I destroyed my health.
Doing cardio after sleeping for at least 6 hours ,first thing in the morning or whenever you get up will tap directly into fat storage as opposed to burning the carbs/calories you digested within the hours prior to cardio .
@@gillumice5900 , its amazing how your taste buds change and less tolerant for added sugar, as nature intended. There's enough natural sugar in our unprocessed foods, especially for people with a sedentary lifestyle.
@@craigcollinsjr I know the human body is unbelievable .....i get my sugars from the fruit I eat....i cut out eating out like BK, McD's, all that crap......i ordered some BK about a month ago nothing big just a double cheeseburger.....i had 2 bites I almost threw up.....Lee can get off the bad foods he just needs to push threw for about a week or 2 ...his body needs to adjust to his new lifestyle....he needs to push threw the headaches and hunger pains.....i know its hard it wasn't easy for me....but after your body adjusts and gets used to the new lifestyle it gets a lot easier......now the hard part is sticking to it.
@@gillumice5900, lol. similar experience. I'd now rather go to bed hungry then eat MCD or BK. 30 seconds, if that, of instant gratification, followed by what feels like an elephant tranquilizer to your soul only to wake up with heart burn and a buzz worst than a hangover.
I know exactly what Lee's talking about. I get the exact same feelings when I stop drinking sugar free energy drinks. Headaches, exhaustion, irritability. Uncle Joey's right - I need to get my shit together. I'll do it, man. I'll quit that shit, since Uncle Joey says so.
I didn’t have soda and I felt like garbage at first. I went from drinking five six packs between six pm and eleven PM to none. I couldn’t digest. The lack of caffeine was awful. Lasted that way for eight weeks. That was August 2008. I can’t say my diet is great, but it’s a lot better
W/d off soda is a very real thing. I’m on food stamps which last 3 wks of every month and the last week of the month I go without unless i pay cash(which i hate and very rarely do). But for those 3 weeks i will have at the very least 1 mt. Dew daily and most days i will have 2. Also drink a small morning coffee every day throughout the month. Ive known this for at least 6 months that after those 3 weeks of drinking soda daily, the first day off is shitty af and even the second day isn’t too great. Usually feel better on day 3 but its just weird that soda can do that to you; yet every month i still drink them for 3 weeks and go through the process of getting off them. Coffee does the same thing.
Sugar is hard on people man. It's actually proved/proven? That it's addictive, like the same way cigaret and stuff like that are addictive. But it goes away faster, good on you that you stopped bro, keep up the good work!!
These two are an interesting combo. Neither have self control and Joey is crazier than Lee, but Joey has awareness and want to to change. I don’t think Lee has thoughts on the matter let alone any time of self disciple. This entire show is almost entirely about this. This is why I get pissed when Lee doesn’t retain any of the stories or is surprised at how NY was in the 70s for the umpteenth time. He’s not listening.
Why don't everyone just repeat what they hear on the podcast instead of listen to it and have your own thoughts on what you heard, note to self, never read the comments which is probably the reason why none of those celebrities don't read them either, just a thought 🤔
I stopped eating all processed food and kept carbs under 10 grams a day. Last about 100 pounds in a year an a half. Found it quite easy, actually. Now is the time, Lee, before Your have serious health problems. Take it from me, been there. Joey should think about it as well.
@@bigdawg9237 Only if you buy it. It's easily made at a fraction of the price. Just don't let people say you need a scoby to start, you don't. All you need is a bottle of booch. It will make it's own scoby.
