Steve is my heaven on earth ❤❤❤❤ He has had my heart from day one !!!!! He is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯 I just love how you get excited about how well you express your when you hear him sing ❤🔥🔥🔥
At this point in Steve's career you can definitely hear the weathering that his vocal chords had endured for so long. He developed a new register. And still kicked it's ass.
I think this is his best song ever! He’s got his range but he’s also got the maturity not to go too far when it doesn’t call for it. It’s a little deeper than his early stuff
Steve Perry is a vocal god. He's the one and only. My niece asked me to sing this song at her wedding and of course I obliged. I've been told I'm a very good singer, but obviously I ain't no Steve Perry :D
You really can’t go wrong with Journey man, Steve Perry’s Vocals portray so much emotion with each and every track. And I know you feel that emotion because you keep wanting to sing along xD
Steve did the “Perry spin”...and he was in terrible pain with his hip while making this video. This song was nominated for a Grammy. It should have won it! Beautiful, amazing song.
Steve Perry's voice is amazing!! Loved watching your reaction to this song. You should react to Mother, Father by Journey. The vocals are killer on this song !!
Steve Perry's "We're Still Here" from Traces album. The man parted company from Journey in 1998 and hasn't produced any music until the Traces album from last year. Besides all his work with Journey, he had 2 solo albums which had so much good material. You've noticed his unique sound, and it is still there.
It's always nice to see a younger generation appreciate my era of music. I've told my daughters that my generation of singers was the last generation of singer/songwriters who write and si g the own songs.
Steve Perry's life love died of cancer. He sang about her. Research is important these days. I love you picked Steve to review. He was blessed with his voice. Will never be replaced. He loved her deeply. Nowcheck out Mike McDonald's voice singing w/o 4th. Mis Patty L.
This was our "wedding dance" song. The first dance I ever had as a married man was to this song. I remember softly singing in my brides ear as we danced that day nearly 24 years ago! And like the song says, I saw my world inside her eyes. Merry Christmas everyone.
Another example of Steve Rising above his personal pain, he was having to ice his hip betwween takes as this was during the time he was being told he might have to have a hip replacement. Guy always gives us everything he's got!
There is only ONE Steve Perry what a pure smooth sound. This my favorite song. All his music with Journey was out of this world. So Sad when he parted with the band. Thank you for your reaction
I would also suggest listening to Good Morning Girl and Stay Awhile from Journey's Departure album. You will feel like you are listening to an angel when you hear him sing those songs.
You need to listen to Steve Perry's new stuff. I recommend "We're Still Here" from his album Traces. The man is 70 & his voice is still golden. Alternatively, some of his other solo stuff is really damn good as well like "What Was" & "I Stand Alone".
This was the last song he performed with Journey...and its riveting. Please react to his recent solo album Traces..pick any song..you wont be disappointed.
It was on their last album together.... was so looking forward to see them if they had toured for that album. Another good song “It’s Just The Rain” Steve Perry 👍🏻🇵🇹
This was the only Journey song nominated for a Grammy, they were robbed and didn't win but this was a wonderful song. You cannot match Steve Perry's powerful and heartfelt vocals!
I bet there would NO Journey song you wouldn't like.....♥ and seriously - how could anyone? this was 10 years after their last album together - Steve was ready to tour this album but he was in such pain and needed a double hip replacement - so they toured this album with a different singer....he never went back after that... during this vid they had to pack his hips with ice between takes he was in so much pain...but by God he is beautiful in this one...♥ ♥
Journey= greatest love songs ever. Heartbreak, in love, making love it doesn't matter if you feel love 💕 n your heart listen to many many Journey songs. Amen brother God Bless you ☮️
Hopefully it dont get taken down but I didnt edit it at all i wanted to see if I can slide by with it like this because it was so good. Also it's a bit out of sync but not that far off lol
@ThatSingerReactions, I saw Journey in 81' on their Escape Tour, and Steve Perry is by far the greatest voice I've ever seen or heard live. If you want a great live video of them to react to, do a reaction to them performing "Lights" and going right into "Stay Awhile" off the same drum beat. Two great Journey songs sung incredibly by Steve Perry. There's a couple of different videos of them doing both songs live on RU-vid, and I believe both were filmed in Japan if memory serves.
Steve is the best 💕 Please ract to mother father Journey Live in Houston and Whay can't this night go on Forever, steve perry missing you, oh sherrie, your better whait and Stand alone 💕
Steve Perry is just unsurpassed. What an epic voice and emotion. Love Wheel In The Sky. You should take a listen. Also, love to see you react to 38 Special Caught up in You. Completely different but it's good old southern rock with one of the amazing Van Zant brothers.
The video of Journey - Mother, Father (Live 1981) . Simply the most amazing vocal performance I've ever seen. Seen it 100 times and still brings chills
You love this song? I love every song Steve sings! Grew up on Journey but didn't appreciate his skills until I was in my early 20s. Trial by fire is my favorite album. Easy to Love, call on me, we're still here, and october in NY are my faves from his latest album Traces. The man can sing!
You should check out "You Better Wait" by Steve Perry.....the intro sounds like Heaven has just opened up and a light is shining down. Your reactions are perfect!
