Yeah, pricing segement was silly here. Students obviously just said what he wanted to hear. 7 quid tops for just the burger and I'm not tight with money. 7 would still feel dirty though, 5 is actually closer to the top price point.
£10 is a nice zone for those here in Brazil where emental cheese can be a tad expensive. Definitely not street food here but I would pay those 10 quid for such a nice presentation (Cmon they looked amazing!).
Great video today! Over here in the states were the Juicy Lucy started at Matt's Bar & Grill in Minneapolis, MN. The Juicy Lucy goes for $6.50 and that's just the burger too. They also pronoun it Jucy Lucy too but both ways is acceptable.
Look really good. Only downside is not being able to sample. I would pay $12 which is about 10 quid. It's the TLC you pay for as well. I have to visit you next time I'm in London.
They look so freaking delicious. But as always I ask myself, price for a restaurant or price for a fast street meal? This definitly makes a difference. In a restaurant I would easily pay 9-10€ but on the street not more than 4€ for 1 burger.
I believe on the street you are more likely to be hasty and don't enjoy the food that well. In a restaurant I have more time to enjoy it as a whole creation and tend to pay more.

Burgers are made from minced (ground) beef. So a meatloaf and burger are pretty much the same thing. It's just that you'd cook meatloaf in the oven over frying it.
On the street i would say 8 bucks american, so taking into consideration a different economy, it would equate to about what you said there. :) Good burger man!
