Testimony continues in the Karen Read murder trial as the prosecution makes its case. Read is accused of hitting and killing her Boston police officer boyfriend, John O'Keefe, with her SUV in 2022.
This is so tragic that Officer O'Keefe died like this. I really don't care about who as much as why? Whomever is guilty is a POS! THE TRUTH WILL NOT BE HIDDEN!
Why isn’t anyone making a big deal out of the fact that Brian Albert slipped up yesterday when he said his wife came down the stairs in the morning and the first thing she said was where is John?
This prosecutor is terrible, unless you need someone to lay foundation for everything under the sun that has nothing to do with the case at hand. “What if anything…add unrelated question here”
Lally spent an hour and a half just to get this guy to say John’s garage door was left open and snow was left in it so therefore Karen must be a killer because John was so particular … my lord “What if any snow was on the ground?”, does not need to be asked of every witness.
Get real ... She hit her boyfriend with a seven thousand pound machine and left him laying flat on his back. She had no concern for him and has no concern for his family.
Nope. If the police already have who they think did it, then it goes to trial. Unless there's a mistrial, the case would be considered closed. But someone could still be prosecuted with strong evidence.
Probably not! The whole reason they're framing Karen Read is so that no one else will be charged. That could backfire on them since they're being investigated and the FEDS seem to have quite a bit on them. The sad part is John's family is believing the prosecution. Likely because John himself was a cop and it just seems unfathomable to them. I think the family especially the brother wants to believe that it's Karen, because she called them out for not pulling their weight with their niece and nephew. The brother claimed that if they had a larger house they would have taken them in but they could have moved to the house they lived in or sold both houses and bought a larger one. He said they seen John and the kids once or twice a month, so they definitely weren't helping out with the day today activities. Are the kids with the grandparents now or their father's side of the family?
Who would have thought in Dedham center there really that much crime? Hence, the constant sirens nearby. Everyday they need to Pause due to the background sirens
This prosectuion and prosecutor are horrible. Unprepared, to windy, to lengthy. I've been trying to put myself in the jury box but find myself so bored out of my friggin mind. What the hell was with the e-mails from his buddy???????
Pros are going to argue that there were no footprints in the snow, but if you pay attention, footprints and even tire tracks can only be discerened with a camera directly overhead.
Plow driver saw a Ford Edge parked there at about 330am. Certainly a detective would be smart enough not to leave a big track in the snow from his house to John. I think he was loaded onto a vehicle in the driveway or garage. Tire tracks leaving his house would not necessarily suspicious or draw attention.
@@deborah_attorneyI agree I think that's why they supposedly called for a ride for the younger nephew who decided not to take the ride. It explains a way the tire tracks.

His death may have been totally accidental after perhaps a fight in the house but the people in the house never bothered to check on him after he left the house and fell in the snow where he was found the next morning. Alcohol definitely affected a lot of the actions and decisions that night.
😂 there is no evidence to back that theory up. Do you have a theory for how to explain away the footprint underneath the large piece of tail light that wasn't missing in any photos taken prior to it going to Canton PD because I have a simple answer it was planted.
Yep. I’m thinking fight near the house that he was found by. I don’t think KR. I think it was accidental and he’s wandered off into the snow and passed out. Poor guy.
@@U-TUBE-me I believe she knocked the taillight when she backed into JO’s vehicle, but the taillight was missing in the video of the officers dashcam that went to the house to check on the kids that morning.
This prosecutor is absolutely terrible. I think he just likes to hear himself talk. How long the bartender has been a bartender, how many people work there, when they have entertainment, and what band played will not tie into your story..... STFU and ask something relevant just one time!
In most cases you have to do everything and anything to prove innocences. People with more authority don’t have to do to much. It is always the défendent that has to prove that they did nothing wrong. Plus lawyers the money when it adds up the time
