Thanks for doing this review! Came across this bench on Amazon and it had all the features I was looking for at a great price but was nervous about the quality. This video helped me pull the trigger on it!

So a little over year with the bench and still love it. Finally went to try the pop pin mod. Got Keppi to send me more pop pins that i used because i didn't want to screw up the originals, but after grinding them and installing they still only went halfway. Compared them to the ones on my 2022 model and they are shorter.

I'm glad you are enjoying your bench! It's been great for me too. Oh man that's a bummer they sent you shorter pop pins. You could grind your original ones now that you've had some great practice 😉

It's definitely best bang for the buck. A big upgrade from what I was using. An old bench that was meant to be mounted to a bench press and super wobbly.

That's a great deal! It's the same coupon I used too, I didn't want to mention it cause it was gone shortly after I bought it and didn't want everyone to expect it to be there. Let me know what you think of the bench! I'm still liking it a lot.

Good review. What kind of of rubber flooring are you using?

Thank you! My flooring is horse stall mats from tractor supply. I bet any store similar to that would have them too. I couldn't recommend them enough! You can't beat the price which was $50 for a 4X6 and they are 3/4 inch thick. Pretty easy to cut to size too.

I think this bench is rather under-rated - much more robust than most of the cheaper folding benches on Amazon, and much cheaper than the big heavy duty/overbuilt ones from Rep/Rogue and other imitations.

I'd have to agree with you man! For the price you get a lot. It's been a huge upgrade from what I was using and it has such quick adjustments and the removable leg part is so nice. Definitely a great contender for the best in it's price! Thanks for watching!

What did you use to grind down the threads?

I had an angle grinder and held the bolt with vice grips. It grinded the threads pretty fast.

A 1 star reviewer on Amazon said their seat attached to the frame crooked and it looks like yours is also crooked? Looks like its off center like an inch to the left? Is that a camera angle illusion or is yours offset like an inch or so?

Great question, it must have been a camera angle illusion, I just double checked and it looks square and just right. The only thing I saw that was wrong was the sticker under the seat had some scratches on it but it was no big deal.

His looks square because of his modifications to the threads. It only goes off when it's screwed in.

@@shawnbooth9512 He may have been unlucky and got a bad quality one. It would be the bolts holding the pad on that would affect it more than me grinding the threads a little bit. It's still a great option for a budget bench 💪

Have you found a preacher attachment that will work with this? So far I have only seen the Iron Master attachment and I would have to drill a hole in the bottom. Might go for it though.

I haven't found an attachment yet but I've used it as a preacher itself by setting it to an incline and resting my arm on the back pad. That's worked pretty good. That sounds pretty good, if you just need to drill one hole and have a set attachment for it! 💪

@@SelfBuilt It is $129.00. Their hole is on the side. We would have to drill through the bottom. Seems pretty straight forward. As long as it fits and I would prefer a snug fit. You might have a better chance to find a dealer in your city. I used to be a fitness dealer and carried them, but I closed down 11 years ago and I don't think anyone around here picked them up. I will look around though.

I have this bench, and I would not recommend it. I do like many aspects of it, but it there is a major design flaw. It can and will tip over if too much weight is at the head. The first time this happened, I was benching 150lbs warm up. Luckily, I had safety bars in place since I couldn't reach the j-hooks any longer to rerack the barbell.

I appreciate your feedback and experience. I've had it start to tip a little when doing chest supported rows of it's at certainly inclines. With the back support being longer than the normal ones it does add more leverage to tip. I would recommend always sitting on the smaller seat pad to keep yourself safe and keep the gains going 💪
