KeyShot Material Study: Radial Brushed Metal. In this KeyShot tutorial I'll walk you through how to create the look of the much used radial brushed metal. I'll be using the anisotropic material type and the procedural brushed (radial) texture.

Amazing Tutorial as Usual. To the people who cannot access the "move texture" option to remap..... Here's what you need to do. Double click an object in the scene and then when you see what materials are assigned to it, double click that material and it should re-activate once it senses you are working on that particular material. Cheers!

Very great tutorial. I would never get the free-spirited idea to use a wood- material for a metal surface. Absolut great! Question: how do you center the anisotropic material if there is a hole?

Would you be able to add such an effect to a textured surface? I am able to reproduce this on a flat surface but not on a textured surface. Any ideas?

Thanks! Have you tried exporting as GLB/GLTF? Depends a bit on what you want to do with the exported model?

Егор Протонов Hi! you can combine bitmaps using the 'color composite' node in the material graph. Might do a tutorial showing it ;)

Do you have any idea why don't I have the "Position" button in the "Anisotropic" menu and how could I bring it back? On a model of mine the radial mode is in a wrong position and I am not able to correct it because of the lack of this "Position" button.

Yes I have. And now I know the solution. This feature comes with a software update.
