the man is always snatching Ls from the jaws of victory. I don't think there is anyway he doesn't implode. Plus like tom said, "I've seen you get fucked a lot and I've never seen Logan get fucked once" Something tells me that will hold true.
What do you mean? This makes perfect business sense. They showed how much the stock dropped. Same as first season when they thought Logan would die. As Kendall said in the first season they need to 'control the narrative' so by releasing all the bad stuff about his dad, suggesting he was incompetent at the end and that him and Roman were running things in the background will help ease the shareholders, making them think there is no real change since they've been pulling the strings from behind the whole time. It's a genius move to get the stock back up and get the rest of the company behind him. That being said this is only episode 4 and there is way to much time for a plot twist. I'm still not ruling out a Logan resurrection. They never showed his body, the only one to see his body is Roman who we know was working with him behind the scenes and coincidentally the Roman is the least broken up about his dad's death (because he potentially knows its fake) when he should probably be the most. Something is off. Also where the hell is Ewan at?
I want Kendall to succeed, because he has the killer instinct; however, it would be a very cynical ending given that we know he has recklessly killed a person. But I suppose that could be more of a reflective jab at us in how people like the Bushes and Kennedys can publicly be known to have killed someone and still not really be held responsible.
Kendall isn't really a good guy. His entire persona was crafted in opposition to his father's shadow, a shadow so powerful it seemed impossible for him to ever measure up. But now that his father is gone, Kendall no longer feels the need to pretend to be something he's not. He's finally free to be himself and crack out of his shell. He is finally secure being himself and that's going to be unsettling.
People saying the show is bad or not the same without Logan are nuts. I think it’s going to get more crazy and cut throat without him. The king is dead and the world is coming to and end
Given that Logan always called Roman Romulus I think that Roman will be the one to kill Kendal in order to rule. Kendall will try and oust Roman who in turn will use the killing the waiter situation to land the killing blow to Kendalls career.
No and that’s the point. Roman doesn’t have it in him to do that. He would tarnish his dad’s legacy further and destroy the family credibility permanently. Your theory only pans out if he just destroys the company as well.
Yeah, some fans of this show are wild, as if this entire scene doesn't just further prove how pathetic Kendall (and all of the kids) actually are. There is nothing cool about this. 😂
You guys are looking at this through YOUR lens. This is a guy who’s experienced a lot of emotional trauma and this can be the event he needs to take place to have him reach his full potential.
@@xxAB23 I b feelin weird abt this take bc on paper its true but most guys have maladaptive day dreams where they correlate being a douche to being a winner so ehhhh
I stopped hoping for killer Kendall after how they squandered his S2 finale moment. I'm savoring this moment for what it is, but let's see how he does with Matsson next episode. My hunch is he'll get cocky and blow it.
You guys know that him becoming CEO and a "killer" is not him winning right ? Now he's going to work his whole life as a puppet for his death abusive father company while repeating the cycle that Logan did.
I completely agree that Kendall is finally a killer. However, I believe he overplayed his hands by going behind Roman's back and also put Shiv aside. Let's not forget that the siblings are strong because of their connections and voters that support each other like in this episode before the board meeting (the saying; Us, we've got somewhere is kinda doomed by Kendall's decision). I could really say that Roman got the best card he got the future president and maybe... Mattson. Shiv got Tom (I believe he got ATN in his pocket) as her card whenever she wanted, she act all this hate because she wanted to be in control and manipulate him to her use. on the other hand, Kendall's a killer now but he got only a big dick in his hand. oh.. and Remember, mi 60 millions casa es su casa. - Conor Roy
Kendall was right when he said that Logan would do the same. Remember in season 1 when he failed with the coup and wouldn’t come to family therapy, Logan did the same by planting false stories of Kendall relapsing.
he could potentially be worse. Logan was literally a lion, he was direct and cut to the bone, kendall seems like a wolf, unexpected, unpredictable, attacks when u least expect just like with hugo and can become a lion too
The" bad dad stuff" refers to when Karolina and Hugo were talking to Roman and Kendall about the image they want to use to convey their status as the Leader's of the Company after Logan's Death and the extreme version of that was using Logan's past of Abusing his Children, him locking up Connor's mother in An insane Asylum against her will, his Affair with Kerry who is not only like 40 years younger but she's also his employee at the job.
@@thanhnamnguyen686 Basically like the season 2 finale he wants to throw him under the bus and suggest that him and Roman were pulling the strings in the background the whole time. Both times Logan was thought to be dead the stock dropped like a rock but with this strategy that can convince the shareholders that he was never even in control this time around and his passing was actually beneficial to them.
Exactly. Kendall decided he gives no fucks about daddy's approval. He's taking that seat of power, and if he has to shit all over his Logan's legacy to do it, he will have no qualms about it.
